Ideally placed to explore Ripon. The room we had in the stables was clean and comfortable. Nice big bathroom with lovely big fluffy towels. Plenty wardrobe space and drawers. Staff were friendly and even offered plates and cutlery if we wanted to order a takeaway (the pub does not do evening meals). Chef explained we would have a 10 to... More

Really had a nice weekend away, nice room in the stables, clean and quiet, very nice breakfast, hot and very filling. Good band in the pub. Had no red wine it hadn't come within with the order, but they went and got Some, which to me is very good service,

Riding from Morecambe to York. Very comfortable spacious room in the courtyard. Good English breakfast but not sure if there was an alternative to this. Well priced, good location with plenty of restaurants to choose from a little walk away.

A nice touch was the bottles of water provided each day. It was well heated and lovely and warm for the 3 nights we... More
