I had to stay one night here on business and unfortunately I did not particularly enjoy my visit. As I was by myself I found the location very isolated (situated off a busy roundabout) and I did not have a car and had to sit by myself all evening. I found the hotel itself a little intimidating, had to pay... More

We stayed one night here. Room clean and tidy, the bed was comfy. My hubby was woken in the night by other guests stomping around on the first floor. This was on the A38 so perfect for a nights stop off. Good price for the area and on site subway/burger king handy. I'd stay again

Just arrived back from Cornwall stayed here. Overall our stay was average, It was a good enough stay if you were using it just to sleep but would not recommend if you were spending most of your time in the hotel. The double beds were comfortable but the single beds were hard and uncomfortable. If you are on the Ground... More

Good location and easy to get to, the cafe at the Waitrose over the road is a good place to get a cheap health dinner and breakfast, but the room I stayed in had dusty walls and could do with a good check by the motels maids.

Very easy to find travelodge with clean comfortable rooms we stayed 4 nights and found it very quiet and slept well the staff were helpful and gave us a map of the area we visited some lovely places during our stay. There is a burger king and another sandwhich outlet on site and parking is free overall a very good base... What a grim place this was. The Travel Lodge is run down, just like the town. There appears to be no love in the place or town. The lodge needs a refurb desperately. I dont think the mist/fog lifted at all whilst we were there - a bit like everyones mood! Internet access limited, so two teenagers were unhappy. The... More

Travelodge itself was okay with good service and clean and spacious rooms. The communal area shared with Subway and Burger King was bleak, littered and smelly. Which is not entirely in Travelodges control but has an impact. Breakfast in Waitrose was good and only across the way.

Provided my room to another guest, no means of contact beforehand. complete shambles. ended up in someone elses room whom they simply checked out as they had the key. I would not recommend any Travelodge through my vast experience of staying in hotels.

Handily located just off the A38, a few 100 metres past the Tamar Bridges. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable though my partner thought them over firm. There is no restaurant although a Burger King and Subway are in the building (with associated smells). A Waitrose across the road is the best bet for food, if they are... More

We stayed in a pet friendly room(which we paid extra for) our room was poor, the smell of animals and dirty carpet was unbearable. When we told staff they just sprayed air freshener to mask smell....!
