We stayed for just one night whilst visiting friends in Devon. We were greeted by the farm owners Richard & Sarah & their lovely family. The large bedroom was very comfortable with tea, coffee & biscuits available and a spotless bathroom with a good range of toiletries. Dinner & breakfast were both delicious with everything sourced locally and served with... More

I stayed mid week and arrived late (past 10pm). My room was ready was very nice. It overlooked farm land and was very quiet . Breakfast was great (large choice) and ready when i requested. I would come back for either business or a weekend break.

The only thing that let down my stay was the reception on arrival. I was greeted with no smile and when I asked about an evening meal I was just directed to the local pub despite their website advertising food. I was the only person staying and I felt like an inconvenience on my arrival. The room itself was spotless... More

Delightful couple of nights spent at Smeaton Farm which is set in beautiful rolling countryside. We were greeted with a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious evening meal. Our room was very comfortable and breakfasts first class and served with finesse. We hope to visit again one day.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Smeaton Farm, shame the Maize Maze wasn't more than a couple of inches high at the time! but as it was only May not surprising. We had a lovely restful last couple of days of our holiday, accommodation was excellent as was the food.

I usually stay in hotels, but reading about the Smeaton Farm sounded like a perfect place to stay in Cornwall. The room, bed, and bath were really nice and clean, and the breakfast delicious. Sarah and Richard were kind and very accommodating hosts. As a city person, I really enjoyed watching the sheep and lambs on the farm.

This Bed and Breakfast is in a beautiful peaceful spot with glorious far reaching views. Our room, called Bamboo had an extremely comfortable double bed and a large en-suite. There is also a very comfortable lounge for the use of guests if you don't want to stay in your room. On the farm, they have cattle, sheep and chickens laying... More

I stayed with my teenage granddaughter. She loves nature and wanted to be able to spend a few days enjoying the lands and animals. This was the perfect place. Richard was very kind to let her hold a lamb and explore the farm. And the food is excellent!
