We stayed some time ago but still talk about our wonderful weekend at this guest house. There are some lovely walks right outside this guest house to enjoy the winter sunshine. We had plenty of individual attention, loved the room and the view and the Christmas dinner was fantastic. more

After a week staying in some of the best B&Bs in England the drive up to this hotel from the road boded well: nice location, lots of greenery. Very comfortable stay but staff did not show any personal skills, breakfast was not served till 9.30 so not so good for buisness people, went down for dinner on the thur night & the restaurant & bar were closed with out any warning or note to give prior warning so had to go out & find some were to eat. more

Stayed in the Arkwright Suite which was lovely. Large bedroom with huge en suite bathroom. Roll top bath with hand held shower (no seperate shower.)
