Just spent a week there - great, friendly hosts who welcomed us with a pot of tea, large comfortable spotlessly clean rooms and beds, and gargantuan breakfasts. If ever a place deserved 6* this is it.. more

I cannot fault this wonderful B & B and the superb owners Alan & Kate. They seem to genuinely enjoy having people there and look after you so well it's a shame to leave! The impression over the whole weekend was that the hosts were pleased we were there. After staying in so many allegedly highly rated Hotels were we had adequate service, it was a really pleasant experience to be really welcomed, and looked after as if we were old friends, We will certainly go back, and recommend Sherrif Lodge to anyone. more

We sometimes think that we are not in control of the Owl population in our Loft room - but we promise its not us that keeps adding to the ever growing number - it's lovely guests...
