We had a lovely stay in Matlock at the old Sunday school. The couple in charge were very friendly and helpful and we had such a good nights sleep in very comfy beds!. Breakfast was lovely and varied and as a vegetarian I was impressed with the veggie breakfast. The house is quite old fashioned and traditional but in a... More

Stayed at this stunning converted Sunday school for one night. Very friendly and accommodating hosts and a delicious breakfast. The room was full of character and charm, and nothing was too much trouble.

What a lovely, traditional B&B! A comfy bed, a quiet location, all the facilities you could need for a short stay in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, a delicious full English breakfast and helpful, charming owners.

I recently spent two months traveling around Great Britain, Ireland, North Portugal and Iceland, and can say with no hesitation that the Old Sunday School B and B was one of the two best places I stayed during that two month period. In fact, I had no choice but to spend far more money in other places while getting far... More

Stayed for 2 nights and loved it, fantastic couple, clean and comfortable room, just lovely. All a little old fashioned but it doesn't matter when they obviously enjoy having you there and take the time to care that you're ok. Even gave us some sausage plait that had been made for the fayre, it was like staying at a family... More

Did a quick search, came across the Old Sunday School . Rang booked straight away. The cost of £60-00 was an absolute bargain. The owners were very welcoming , supplying us with fresh milk on our arrival for a much needed cup of tea. We were shown to our room , it was very spacious with a king size bed... More

My stay in the old Sunday school was very welcoming. The owners are lovely people and have lots of maps and leaflets for many attractions of Matlock, Bath etc. They drew out directions for me gave me bus times and advice on the best sites to see. They were very knowledgeable and happy to help with anything. The beds are... More

We needed somewhere to stay in Matlock after walking a section of the Limestone Way and The Old Sunday School was perfect. Despite it being up a hill it was well worth the walk as we were given a very warm welcome and led to our spacious room and comfy bed. We didn't hesitate to order the full English breakfast... More
