We have stayed in a fair few B and B's but none come close to the fantastic standards of Underleigh House in Hope. Everything is right about this place. It is in the most marvelous setting nestled away in the foot hills with amazing views all round. Our hosts were most helpful in every way but were not 'in your... more

Underleigh House was perfect. This was my second stay, and both visits have been delightful. This time we stayed in the Thornhill Suite, with an adjoining lounge, spacious bathroom, private entrance, and a beautiful view. We were welcomed with cake and tea, and the breakfast was superb. Read the previous reviews, and do not hesitate to book a room here. more

This was our third stay at the Underleigh House and finally we will take the time to sing their praises. If you are going to tour or hike this area this is the only place to stay. The owners, Philip and Vivienne, are the kindest, most helpful and friendliest B&B owners we have ever encourtered. We have used B&B's all... more

We chose to stay here for a short spring break on the strength of the tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. We were immediately made to feel very welcome over a pot of tea and cake in the guest lounge. It is rare to find hosts as professional as Philip and Vivienne and yet are still so friendly, we... more

In my experience - Underleigh is one of the best B & Bs in the UK. The location is perfect for those that like to get away from it all, the accomodation is luxurious, the breakfasts unsurpassable and everything has been thought of. If you think of something - it's undoutbtedly available or can be rustled up in a moment... more

The moment we turned off the car engine on arrival at Underleigh House, Philip Taylor emerged from the house to greet us and offer us tea and cake in the lounge, where we met the majority of the other guests (we had managed to book the last bedroom available that night). We all chatted about where we were going to... more

We have been staying at Underleigh for nine years now. We go at the same time every year & our experience is always wonderful. We began when the property belonged to the Singletons, Barbara & Tony, and thought then it was a fabulous find.We were a little worried when they retired & sold up to Philip & Vivienne; would it,... more

We really can't add more to what has already been submitted in other reviews so we will keep it brief. Suffice to say that we look forward to returning for a further two nights stay at this superlative B & B. One further thought: we live only an hour away from Underleigh House and when, having walked up it, we... more

Cannot praise this wonderful B&B enough, all of the previous reviews without repeating them were spot on.Both Philip and Vivienne cannot do enough for you and both work very hard to make this in my opinion one of the best . As in my other reviews I like to comment on one of the most important factors of anywhere I stay... more

I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay than Underleigh House. Philip and Vivienne go out of their way to make each guest's stay absolutely delightful, even collecting me from the train station at 9pm on a Friday evening and then going back 2 hours later to fetch my boyfriend who had missed his connection. Furthermore, Vivienne gave us... more
