When we arrived the reception was pleasant and helpful right from the start! The Gentleman behind the bar ensured we we happy and settled. The food was absolutely spot on and the breakfast was a great start to the day. Very popular with the locals and a friendly atmosphere all round! would definately recommend! more

Stayed for 2 nights in October. We've stayed elsewhere in the Peaks since. Beer and food were fine, no complaints. The staff were much more interested in looking after the locals than us 'outsiders' though, to the point of serving people behind us at the bar. I recommend the Little John instead. more

I always try to stay at the Scotsman's Pack when visiting our company in Sheffield. Worth the extra drive for a clean and quiet Inn in the Peak District.
