This is quite simply our favourite place. The most wonderful location. The cleanest cottage we have ever stayed in. The deepest sleeps we have ever had. There are fresh herbs growing in pots outside the front door; a wonderful golden labrador plodding around; sheep and lambs (if you're lucky) everywhere.

I stayed here for a walking holiday, Julie had provided loads of extra bits like hand soap and washup liquid etc. The accommodation was excellent, so clean it all looked new, you can clearly see that a lot of money has been spent to make sure you are very comfortable, which I was.

We stayed in Lose Hill cottage for 3 nights with our 14 week old daughter. Our first family holiday. It was a great choice. The cottage is really well maintained. With quality furnishings and a very well equipped kitchen. There was everything we needed, from the little things like sponges, soap, towels and washing up liquid to a cafetiere for... More

We stayed at the Old Dairy cottage - one of 3 at the farm - in August 2013. As advertised, it is cosy, i.e. small, but it's fine for 2 people. The cottage is comfortable, well equipped and has a private patio & well-kept garden area (favoured by birds). A welcome tray in the kitchen on our arrival was a... More

We have stayed in a few holiday cottages over the years and Lose Hill Cottage is outstanding. We were made to feel welcome from the outset - great hosts, very friendly and relaxed, but clearly totally dedicated to providing a first class service for their guests. The cottage has everything we needed and more - tea tray with biscuits to... More

Just stayed at Losehill cottage, Oaker Farm for a week. The cottage was very cosy, the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The location is idyllic with walks from the front door or a short distance away. The farm itself is surrounded by stunning views and cute lambs at this time of year. The village of... More

We stayed at Losehill Cottage at Oaker farm for 3 days in April 2013. When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Julie and her husband and Maisie the dog. They have a separate utility room with a first aid box, ironing board, washing machine, DVD's, books, board games, everything you need really. They have a separate barn with... More
