This is a wonderful old pub, refreshingly unpretentious, with a fantastic atmosphere. Visited the Bulls Head two Sundays ago , lovely greeting on arrival . A first class Sunday lunch will certainly be back .I had the roast shoulder of lamb which was just delicious I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely inn a beautiful part of the world .

Very good menu of fresh homemade food. Good selection of fish meals. Starter of asparagus tagliatelle very good/ Turkey, ham and leek pie excellent, and generous, as was the fish pie. All in all a very pleasant lunch. Will return. The location is excellent; a great place to walk from. Good country.

Stayed for a long weekend in July. Friendly welcome, clean and well presented rooms and excellent breakfasts/ evening meals. Thoroughly recommended, will definitely stay here again.
