We have just returned from an overnight stay here, and what can I say it was absolutely faultless. It was spotlessly clean, room was lovely, crisp white bed linen with a comfy bed and brilliant large free standing shower. The food was fantastic - we had Sunday lunch and then breakfast this morning. It was fabulous, high end ingredients cooked... More

Beautiful old building, incredibly clean. Smell of the food on arrival delicious. Staff so friendly and helpful. Room cosy and very clean, shower really powerful and refreshing. Food lived up to expectation, had evening meal which arrived promptly and was lovely. Inclusive breakfast just as good with very attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit.

We weren't meant to dine at the Red Lion but we were both instantly drawn to the menu! I ended up having the Lasagna which is the best I've ever had! Atmosphere is also excellent and staff are friendly! A must visit! will definitely be returning back for some more lasagna!!

Nice option for a bite in Bakewell when refreshments are required. Nice selection of local ales and traditional pub food. Partially enjoyed the tender beef found in the pie of the day. Friendly service with decent prices.

Nice atmosphere in both the lounge and tap room. Menu looked great even though I only opted for warm beef sandwich, real chips also. Ideal drop in for just a beer or for a meal with friends/family. Definitely will visit again when next in the lovely town of bake well.

We ordered pork or beef baps, the chilli and also the pie. We all really enjoyed our meals. My pie was very tasty and the chips were amazing. Service was pleasant and the pub had a nice atmosphere. Would definitely visit again.
