A return visit for Sunday lunch with friends. Excellent service from very personable staff and delicious food, as usual. Very little to fault with this venue and definitely value for money. Tradition will hopefully be maintained for some time to come.

We visited Hassop Hall Hotel just last week for a 1 night break as a birthday treat for a friend's mum. Our experience was excellent from start to finish, the staff were very attentive, informed & nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation itself was spacious, well presented & included many of those little things that make the difference such... More

We have eaten and stayed at this hotel many times, I think that says it all. I love this period hotel (more hall than hotel) its like staying in a stately Hall. The welcome by Richard or Tom is so nice, as is the service of the staff, the food is well prepared and served on beautiful white table cloths... More

We visited Hassop Hall to celebrate an 80th Birthday on 17th Jan 2015. The hotel is located within driving distance to Chatsworth and is set in its own grounds. We had booked their 4 course meal. Orders and drinks with nibbles taken in the cosy lounge bar before we were shown to our table. Food was delicious . Generous servings... More

19/01/15 celebrated my birthday with my husband in the restaurant with dinner. I was a bit apprehensive as to the ambiance on an icy Monday night but it was delightful. From the aperitif in the cosy bar with roaring fire to the lovely dining room with flowers and candle light there were enough guests to make the room 'buzzy'. The... More

This is one of our favourite places, which we've been coming to for the last 17 years. It is such a special place with so much character and charm, and wonderful staff. The food is always great as is the service. It is worth visiting just to have a meal, but if you able to book a room you will... More

I have been with family and friends to this venue. From valentines day meal to a 120 person wedding, Hassop hall has NEVER failed. The wedding was a five course meal. All the same temperature, served well and at a nice timely rate. Of course, extremely good quality. The room was gorgeous. Decorated to the best standard. I especially loved... More

This hotel went through a phase a few years ago when it became very tired and tatty with cobwebs everywhere. Thankfully now the son of the family has taken over, standards are higher and the place is clean once again. i have been a customer here for many years as it was a favourite of my mother so we dined... Wonderful. Elegant, efficient, yet feels like home. The staff are the best in the business, and always make you feel welcome. The food is allways a delight, beautifully presented, but not overcatered so that it loses its heart, and becomes art work!
