My husband and I visited Hassop Hall for lunch on the recommendation of some friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The welcome was fabulous - more like arriving at a friend's house than a hotel. We were shown to the bar where the fabulous service continued with drinks served with (fresh bowls of) nuts and crisps whilst we studied the... More

We recently stayed here for a friend's wedding in the hotel's hall. Rooms were lovely, very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Four post bed especially nice. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we were peckish at the end of the night and one of the housekeepers kindly bought us up a tray of delicious morsels from the... More

Having dined in the superb restaurant many times over the years, we decided to stay over for a night this time to celebrate my wife's birthday in style. We arrived mid-afternoon and had coffee in the cosy bar area before heading upstairs to get changed for drinks and dinner. Although very spacious, the bedroom itself was a tad disappointing and... Visited Hassop Hall Hotel last week for one nights stay, my wife and I enjoyed our stay so much that we are already in the process of arranging another visit. The hotel, seems to of kept a lot of its history and charm from times gone by, especially in the way that the hotel is run and the way in... More

We just stayed one night for B&B. Very traditional, quiet, beautiful grounds we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside for tea and drinks. Very warm welcome and friendly staff. Like your earlier reviewer we were on 2nd floor so no Wi-Fi in our room. Lovely big bath and plenty of hot water. An excellent full English breakfast.... More

Old world charm is provided by this family owned establishment, whose staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was not reached by the Wi-Fi, but that aside, it was very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom must have been recently updated and was of the highest quality. We stayed three nights and dined in. The... More

Stayed here overnight as part of a wedding party. Hotel and grounds are stunning. Decorated in a traditional English style. The hotel itself is an old manor house and as you would expect, slightly quirky in its layout. The furnishings are of a good quality and the service was excellent. Breakfast was good and the evening meal we had as... More
