Visited Hassop Hall Hotel last week for one nights stay, my wife and I enjoyed our stay so much that we are already in the process of arranging another visit. The hotel, seems to of kept a lot of its history and charm from times gone by, especially in the way that the hotel is run and the way in... More

We just stayed one night for B&B. Very traditional, quiet, beautiful grounds we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside for tea and drinks. Very warm welcome and friendly staff. Like your earlier reviewer we were on 2nd floor so no Wi-Fi in our room. Lovely big bath and plenty of hot water. An excellent full English breakfast.... More

Old world charm is provided by this family owned establishment, whose staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was not reached by the Wi-Fi, but that aside, it was very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom must have been recently updated and was of the highest quality. We stayed three nights and dined in. The... More

Stayed here overnight as part of a wedding party. Hotel and grounds are stunning. Decorated in a traditional English style. The hotel itself is an old manor house and as you would expect, slightly quirky in its layout. The furnishings are of a good quality and the service was excellent. Breakfast was good and the evening meal we had as... More

Have just been for a wonderful family meal. Excellent venue ,super staff and a fabulous venue. A real pleasure. May be best to book in advance but well worth it. Be prepared for very generous portions too😊. England at its best.

Some tiny little things that almost made me consider this a 4 instead of a 5. Firstly the arrival down the drive is fantastic, but then it appears a tradesman entrance at the side of the building. Reception is not well signposted, on arrival went to the bar instead! The hotel itself is in fairly good condition, but there are... More

We visited Hassop Hall in July - a 2 night stay - and it was delightful. Hassop Hall is a beautiful old building, with lovely gardens and surrounding countryside. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Bedroom decor was elegant and traditional with a modern bathroom. The quality and presentation of the food both for breakfast and dinner was... We were here to attend a family wedding and had a luncheon after the ceremony. The place is very impressive especially as you drive in through the gates and down the drive. The internals are just as impressive, with nice clean decoration and spacious rooms. The ceremony was held in a nice intimate room with a nice view of the... More

Let's start with the positives. Hassop Hall is a lovely old building in magnificent grounds. Dinner and breakfast were very good, and service was courteous and came at the right speed. However, the hotel doesn't punch its weight. Even getting to our room was stressful! We arrived by car from an unusual direction (west) and so struggled to find the... More
