My husband and I spent 3 nights at Wyedale B&B and had a great stay. Every morning, we are greeted by Gill with a sumptuous breakfast of our choice - full English breakfast, kippers, toast, cereal, fruits, etc. Knowing that my husband and I spend most of the day out walking and climbing, Gill really fed us well and made... Just what you need for a place to stay, the owner is very friendly and the rooms nice and clean. The full English breakfast is also perfect way to start your day. This is the second time I've stayed here with my dad and would happily stay again. Thanks, Neil & Brian Coulson

We recently stayed overnight as attending a wedding in the town. It is ideally situated as only a 5 minute walk on the flat, with the park across the road, yet it is a very quiet area. Gill let us stay in the self contained family sized room on the ground floor which has a separate entrance in order to... More

Stayed two nights to visit the local attractions including Chatsworth House ( well worth a visit ) the bedroom was very clean , if a little small, but more than adequate for a two night stay, the bathroom was good size with decent shower. Our hostess was lovely and very helpful , the breakfast , freshly cooked , kept me... More

We had a lovely room which was a good size. We felt very welcome and the breakfast was wonderful. Gill was very eager to help us. Gill told us some great places to visit. We did not feel rushed to go out in the mornings or on the day we left. We would stay with Gill again.

This was a return visit to the Wyedale B&B for me as I was taking part in another long distance ride along the Pennine Bridleway and High Peak Trail. Although my accommodation was chosen by my equestrian hosts as part of the ride package, I was delighted to stop-over at Jill's home again which is spotlessly clean, comfortable and very... More

I stayed at Wyedale for two nights 1 and 2 June 2013. I liked the hostess Gill the minute I met her. Gill is a lovely person who will help in any way she can. We had a good chat on my arrival. Gill prepared me an evening meal as I had not eaten much since the day before. The... More

Clean, functional B&B with nice, friendly, helpful owner. On the outskirts of Bakewell 5-10 mins walk from centre. Decor not very modern. Disappointed to find no coffee grounds at the bottom of the cafetiere - it was instant coffee!!!
