The place is very spacious with supper kingsize bed. The owners were pretty welcoming and helped us about where to eat / go in the local area. I stayed in Bakewell before a number of times but this is the best one we stayed in the town! Love to go back again for walking and relaxing holiday!

Stayed last night at mount tabor chapel. Not much of a church type myself, but I found it quite heavenly. Best value stay I have had for a very long time. Fay and simon were wonderful hosts. Breakfast on the balcony was a real unexpected surprise. Gorgeous bedroom with sublime choice of teas. The curry house a couple of minutes... More

I write this review after staying at the hotel on 11th & 12th july 2014, I spent a total of £450 this was for a family room for one night and two nights in the Penthouse suite for our pre wedding night and wedding night. So when booking the hotel prior to our wedding we negoiated that we had sausage... More

Arrived in the car park and called the number given. A member of staff came straight away to carry our bags to our room.If you book the lodge thinking you will have a view of the hall think again. The lodge apartments are not on the grounds and the only way to see the hall is to go down the... More

We had pre-booked a room at Bagshaw Hall to celebrate my 30th birthday. On arrival we were underwhelmed to say the least as we were led round the back of the hall to an annexe and showed to our room. The room itself was both smelly and grubby - it was described as luxurious and this could not have been... More

Well what a hell hole of a room!!! I would not put a dog in it, starting with the bathroom the grout was brown all around the shower area also along the side of the bath, on rolling up the blind in the bathroom a huge cobweb stared back at me! Quite clear it had not been cleaned in weeks... More

Great place to stay with nice big rooms and a big bed. Excellent powerful shower. Good little kitchenette for small things. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Small things like a minor stain on a pillow and a missing window handle that let it down! These things could be seen to more for such a high price being paid.... More

Had a great time in the Peak District, we brought two dogs this time, and the accommodation was superb. The location of Bagshaw Hall is quiet and gives a nice view of the Bakewell centrum, a short walk away from a nice meadow to walk the dogs, and close to shops and restaurants. Do try the Bakewell pudding and tart!... More

We booked accommodation for a family group of 7 people for a walking holiday. Tragically, we had to cancel the booking due to a family bereavement, one week before we were due to arrive. Not only did we have to forfeit the deposit, but we were charged for the full cost of our stay, when we were not able to... More

We have just spent a weekend at Bagshaw Hall. We stayed in the Rutland Suite in the main building. Lovely apartment over 2 floors. Fully fitted kitchen and sitting area the ground floor and large bedroom/bathroom on the first floor. Loved the garden area and enjoyed a bottle of wine overlooking the views across Bakewell and the countryside. We had... More
