Nice hotel and In a lovely location. We stayed in the churchdale suite which was spacious, clean and well appointed. Although needed a few tweets. One window in need of repair, and would have felt more luxurious with window dressings.Bathroom was adequate but towel rail wasn't working at all, so resulting in damp towels.Shower was excellent. We were disappointed with... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and for the money we paid we both a little disappointed. We arrived a little late at 9.30 and after getting booked in and shown our room sat down to watch tv and catch up on emails. Firstly the TV didn't work correctly so had to phone to get this sorted at 10.10pm. Then... More

A really unusual building with lots of charm. Its in a great location for both the Peak District as a whole and for Bakewell itself. A slightly odd way of being build, no receipt, but that was not a problem. Also you are not given a choice when it comes to the cooked breakfast. All in all vey good

We stayed for three nights in what had been booked as a standard room. We were allocated to the "Garden Suite". Suite in this context is a misnomer, as it is not a suite. It is in fact a semi -basement room accessed via a narrow stone staircase and through a tiny door with headroom about 5'8". Part of the... More

Stayed here for 2 nights . Great location and warm welcome . Very clean and great views over bakewell only minutes from shops and bars . Which were nice and quiet for a drink . In the rooms there was everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Thanks

Really enjoyed our stay at Bagshaw Hall 30th March to 1st April. Wonderful views - this kept changing every 5 mins due to high winds, clouds and rain. We could see clear across the town. Called from the carpark at 2.30 & shown to our room, The Mirabeau Suite. The furniture was 'Regency' style and may have dated from that... More

Stayed here with my wife for two nights during our holiday. We arrived late in the day with no reservation (due to our refusing to stay at the pre-booked accommodation, review to follow 😱). Fortunately the owner had a room available and braved the wind and rain to come and help us out (thanks again!). The hall is a wonderful... More

My partner and I stayed here for a night during the week in March. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff and beautiful rooms & scenery. Easy walk into Bakewell (which is so pretty, and great for tourists- lots of quaint eateries for the daytime, and good pubs for the evening). I would really recommend it.

I stayed at the Bagshaw Hall from Thursday, 5th March to Sunday, 8th March 2015. I was allocated the Haddon Room, which is set to the back of the Hall (the lounge area and main entrance are on the same level, however this room is to all intents and purposes a basement room, with windows set above head height). I... More
