Stayed in Melbourne House for two nights while visiting Bakewell. Received a lovely warm welcome, was helped with my luggage and shown to my room which was delightful. Comfortable, well-appointed, good decor and finishing touches. It was a lovely place to stay and very centrally located - just a two minute walk from the heart of Bakewell. Breakfasts were excellent... More

We have stayed at Easthorpe in Bakewell twice now and would go back time and time again. The rooms are well furnished and very clean as are the bathrooms. The full English breakfast was very "full " indeed. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and full of knowledge about the local area. Both guesthouses are within minutes of Bakewell... More

The entire B&B is amazing, and the owner's are wonderful people! Not only are they helpful and well-mannered, but they're absolutely charming and friendly. The rooms are spotless and the design is brilliant, modern but still fitted well to the old surroundings. The breakfast was amazing, and well worth getting up for - Especially the tasty sausages, eggs and bacon!... More

This B & B is within a minutes walk from the centre of the wonderful village of Bakewell. We were able to park our car safely which is another plus. Our room was very nice and clean and a comfortable bed. The breakfast was good and the hosts were friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this delightful B & B

Recently stayed here for the 2nd time which is always a good endorsement. Clean rooms, super helpful owners and lovely freshly cooked breakfast. The parking is a real bonus & particularly useful on my first trip when I was able to leave my car there for a couple of extra nights while I was off walking! Wouldn't hesitate to book... More

Very helpful owners, comfortable, tasteful room, nice decor and fun framed cartoons in the hallways. Off street parking very handy in snowstorm in March when town lots were not cleared. Great breakfast, generous portions and good selection. Very close to town center, shops and pubs. All in all a happy experience. Thank you Marie and John.

We booked this trip for us and another couple, it's always a bit worrying that the accomodation will be ok. However, this B&B is a real find. A couple of minutes walk from the town centre and it's lovely restaurants, shops and walks. The two rooms we had were both of a good size, beds comfy, the bedding and decor... More
