I have stayed in a number of Premier Travel Inns over the last few years and they were all satisfactory. However... I stayed in room 26 at Chesterfield and it did not have a razor point - neither did the room occupied by my business colleague opposite mine. When I complained at reception I was told that I was the... more

Whilst some of the hotel is undergoing what looks like a refurb, my room was clean, tidy and v modern. Lady at reception very helpful and Brewers Fayre pub next door good value. Yes, the hotel is near a railway line and opposite Tescos but no noise and no disruption. Recommended more

Yet another good Premier, formerly Travel, Inn. The website and the person at central reservations both warned about possible noise from the nearby railway line but our room didn't suffer from adverse noise. I like the idea of walking from our room to the adjacent Brewers Fayre without having to go outside in the rain, wind and snow!! We were... more

Fantastic value for money. Room was immaculate and spacious and perfect for a family stay. Hotel staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Adjacent Brewers Fayre provides breakfast which is way above the standard you would expect from this chain. Would definitely stay here again - famly of four cost just over £100 for 2 nights B&B!!! more

Just wanted a comfortable room for the night whilst visiting relatives - the Premier Inn was perfect for this. Very clean and comfortable rooms - the bed was huge and really comfy, the room was nicely decorated and spacious. Really good value for money and very friendly helpful staff also. Bit tricky to find but I called the reception and... more

The hotel has rooms have recently been refurbished. They are clean and fresh. Very good value for money. We were warned about possible noise from the train track opposite the hotel. However we did not hear anything. All in all a pleasant stay. The only small grip was only being able to get 3 channels on the TV. more

The Travel Inn itself wasn't too bad but the attached Brewers Fayre was an absolute disgrace and unfortunately this was were we had to go for our breakfast. The service was about the worst I can remember in a long while. We ordered cooked breakfast which took about 45 minutes to arrive and the wait was certainly not worth it.... more
