Despite being desperate for a place to stay after a long day of driving, we left this hotel less than a minute after entering our room. As wary travelers we always check the beds before settling in, and were horrified to see a proliferation of bed bugs on the box spring. I can't imagine how cleaning staff could not notice... more

Had booked but after looking at 3 rooms decided not to stay. Unidentified huge stains & splats on wall and ceiling in one room, wonky bed in next room shown and no double glazing at back overlooking dual carriageway. Needs some serious maintenance. more

Had a pleasant stay at the Ibis. Staff were pleasant, smiling and efficient at check-in, breakfast and check-out. Room was standard Ibis - sufficient room, clean and in good repair. Large walk-in shower and good lighting in bathroom. My room was at the front of the hotel looking out onto the Lordsmill roundabout, but no problems with noise at all.... more
