Rooms were spotlessly clean - large and airy with tea / coffee making facilities as well as a biscuit section. Hairdryer and iron in the room as well. Breakfast was all locally sourced and plenty of options - cereal, fresh fruits, full English, toast and jams - plenty to set you up for the day. Hospitality was great and Tiger... More

I stayed at the Pickwick Lodge for the weekend with my mother whilst we were visiting relatives - what a great find this place was. Gill was a great host, excellent breakfasts using locally sourced food and the twin room was tastefully decorated with everything you would need for the week-end from bathrobes, toiletries to tea and coffee and of... The single word "excellent" says it all for this B&B. unfortunately trip advisor won't let you leave such a short review so I shall press on. The location is fantastic. Lovely and quiet, beautiful views yet only a couple of minutes in the car to local shops, pubs and restraints. The rooms are lovely. Well decorated, very clean and lots... More

A very good find! An old stone farmhouse surrounded by fields. No traffic and very quiet, but within easy reach of Bath and Chippenham. The room was very comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. All beautifully clean and comfortable with all the extras such as bathrobes, tea/coffee, biscuits etc and the bathroom also had all the 'extras' needed. We felt very... More

Pickwick Farm came to my attention when I was looking for an accommodation somewhere between Hampshire and Bristol. The itinerary was to visit Sutton Scotney then visit Bristol the day after and move onto London. So I had to find somewhere to stay for 2 nights. I knew finding a decent place with on-site car park in Bristol with my... More

My husband and I were so fortunate to have found Pickwick Lodge Farm. Our stay was for a weekend whilst we explored nearby Corsham Court and Laycock whilst tracing ancestors. Gill was so welcoming and her breakfast was delicious. We were very taken with the dining room which was beautifully decorated and charming. Our room faced the front of this... More

We hired all the rooms for our daughter's wedding weekend - and it couldn't have been better. Luxurious rooms, spotlessly clean, welcoming, everything that we could possibly need. Our daughter and bridesmaids were very happy and relaxed in the two rooms at the front of the house - as were the rest of us further down the hall. The wedding... More

Stayed for two nights. Wish it had been longer. Lovely comfortable room and spotless. Lovely location. Breakfast was first class and I couldn't fault it in any way. Hostess Gill was so friendly and welcoming and would certainly visit again.
