We had a perfect stay at Pickwick, reserving and finding the place was easy, despite it's off-the-beaten-track location (Gill and Google Maps helped and it's still only a 20 min drive to Bath and other local attractions.) The double room was spacious, we didn't have an en suite, but still had our own private bathroom right outside with a great... more

We had a very nice stay in Pickwick Lodge Farm B&B, which is a splendid and quiet house. Gill was particularly friendly and gave us a a warm welcome. Breakfast was home-made and very good. The room was lovely, cozy and wide. The bathroom was immaculate with good towels and bathrobes. I will recommend this B&B to my friends and... more

Lodge is a small way down Guyers Lane we chose to stay here for a wedding we were attending at Guyers House. It is pleasantly stood in the countryside and looks charming and authentic. We arrived late evening to be greeted by a friendly chap who offered to help with luggage and immediately showed us to our room. The room... more

Our hostess was very friendly and helpful in recommending activities in the area. Delicious breakfasts were served and the hostess made us feel very comfortable with the other guests at breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we liked being out of the city on a farm. more

I found this B&B through Tripadvisor and the reviews that influenced my choice were all on the mark. Lovely place, very quiet and remote which is what we wanted, a nice comfy room and a great breakfast. All in all and great B&B and I'd happily return. more

Booked this BB after reading glowing reviews and must report that this is a wonderful place to stay! We were welcomed warmly and the hostess inquired about our dinner plans. She suggested the Longs Arms in nearby South Wraxall and called ahead to reserve a table for us. We liked this restaurant so much we went there again. Both Pickwick... more

We recently returned from the UK, spending 2 nights at Pickwick Lodge. We had 2 rooms booked as we were travelling with family and both were beautifully presented. We were greeted by the cows at the gates upon arrival at this working farm. We got to the lodge earlier than check-in time but they were more than happy to show... more

We had a fantastastic two nights at Pickwick Farm recently with Gill as the perfect host. Delicious breakfasts and a great recommendation for dinner at a nearby pub, The Longs Arms. Location is excellent, with Bath a short driving distance away - Avery, Salisbury, Stonehenge and the charming Cotswold villages of Castle Comb and Lacock - also close by. Highly... more

This B & B is perfect, the owner is lovely. The rooms are a cottage farmhouse style with everthing you need in them. We went to an outdoor concert and the owner let us borrow everthing we needed for the night. Breakfast was out of this world you have to go and visit it yourself. more
