We shared a twin room for one night and despite our late arrival we were greeted with a real welcome. The room shouted out comfort and quality on opening the door - the double aspect windows were framed by heavy lined beautiful curtains, the shower room was very high spec and the goodie tray included not just tea and coffee... I know I have written earlier reviews about Pickwick Farm.....but I've been again and, guess what, it's still an excellent place to stay! And Gill still provides the finest brekka encountered. Wonderful selection of fruit, jam, lemon curd. Plus super plate of bacon, sausages etc to set one up for a hard day at Castle Combe. And now there are 6 different teas in... More

Stayed 2 nights in the triple room. I could not fault this beautiful B & B (except beds were rather too firm for me) Beautiful location and gorgeous breakfast offering smoked haddock, smoked salmon or full english followed by strawberrys or cereal. Cute jack russell toddling around in the sweet garden.15 mins walk from Hare & Hounds (good food). I... More

A really good B&B with first class breakfast. The owners have kept up the standard for many years. All rooms are good but it's best to get one of the en-suites as the separate bathroom is not all that convenient and it's effectively impossible to shower as the water is either freezing or boiling. Possibly the mixer needs looking at... More

I stayed for one night in a well-appointed, en-suite room with a double bed. Great care and attention had been paid to all aspects of the room's décor and it's facilities: TV (flat-screen), tea, coffee, hot chocolate, home-made fare, etc.; and the bathroom has top-class toiletries. Finally, the breakfast was really nice and filling, helping to set me up for... More

We had a two day break in Wiltshire and chose Pickwick Lodge Farm, we were met by Gill and shown to our room which was a large double bedroom with en-suite. Everything you could need was there in the room and we had the most wonderful stay. Breakfast was good with a great choice, we have no problem in recommended... More

Rooms were spotlessly clean - large and airy with tea / coffee making facilities as well as a biscuit section. Hairdryer and iron in the room as well. Breakfast was all locally sourced and plenty of options - cereal, fresh fruits, full English, toast and jams - plenty to set you up for the day. Hospitality was great and Tiger... More
