I am glad that I stayed at Rudloe Hall. Wonderfully old building that made me feel very special. great views. Certainly NOT (and I am thankful for that!) your standard "corporate" hotel. The personal service at Rudloe Hall makes up for any shortfall in "modern" amenities (who needs satellite television, if lush gardens, rooms with high ceilings and comfortable beds... more

The location and venue are great particularly the restuarant. BUT with a grand venue and a host possibly on the snooty side, expectations were high when being taken to see our room, we were rather disappointed. The basic bedrooms are rather run down and small. Considering the hotel was almost entirely empty we were surprised that they did not take... more

We organised an 80th birthday party lunch for 35 family members at this lovely hotel and everything was perfect. The hotel is very comfortable, with lovely furnishings and decor. The staff could not have been more helpful and kind, which made it a very special day for everyone. The food was superb and the staff were happy to suit the... more

This was a special weekend away and I booked the Tower Suite as it had a hot tub on the balcony. Many people have commented on the nature of the hotel, how quiet it is (only 1 other couple there when we stayed) and its location so no need to repeat that. But what I didn't read about was many... more

Chosen by friends but researched also on the 'net, Rudloe Hall more than lived up to expectations and claims. The combination of traditional building and similar notions of guest service makes for a very different and enjoyable experience. The location of the hotel provides an excellent home for a relaxed but efficient ambience. We chose a Spring Special - where,... more

We stayed at the Rudloe Hall for three nights in May. The purpose of our trip was to take a short break in the southern Cotswolds, an area I had worked in some years ago and which I always wanted to visit at a more leisurely pace. We selected the hotel after reviewing reports on Tripadvisor. We were looking for... more

Considering it was only a weekend break we were after, the top London hotel's would have struggled to match the service and time we had. From the moment we pulled up in our car we were met with a welcome like we were old friend's. From the room, to the the care and attention we both recieved,I've yet to have such... more

Before I begin, let me just say there is not enough space enough to do justice to Rudloe - both the location and the people - so here is a snap shot! We choose Rudloe as our venue for our New Years Eve wedding. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was the perfect location with genuine, caring, attentive... more

My boyfriend wanted to take me away somewhere romantic before Christmas 2007, and I happened to stumble across Rudloe Hall on the Internet. Boy am I glad I did. This has to be the most romantic, wonderful hotel we have ever stayed in. It was almost unreal as it was so good, and made us feel that we were living... more

We visited Rudloe Hall for the first time in October last year and we loved it so much that we decided to get married there this November 07. After much planning & lots of help from Marcus & the chef with regards to menus, dietary requirements & entertainment the weekend finally arrived. We had a mixture of children & adults... more
