We booked this as a pretty much last minute getaway for one night. Stupidly from us we called around a few hotels and booked in to this one due to it having 2 doubles available (bank holiday weekend so was hard to find free rooms) and we hadn't looked at any reviews. We then came across these reviews which were... More

From the main road, the Sat. Nav. sent me through an arch surrounded either side by trees. Up an uneven lane full of pot holes, and eventually to a gravel car park which was full, so double parked. Now, where is the entrance, large oak doors which were closed looked right, and here I was expecting Dracula to admit us.... More

This is the letter I wrote to the manager - I think it says it all.... Dear Rudloe Arms Manager, I’m afraid I need to put in writing my dissatisfaction with our recent stay at the Rudloe Arms. We have just returned from a stay on 30th August in room 113. As you know the extractor fan in our room... More

My partner and I where invited to a wedding in Corsham so,to make a weekend of it we decided to stay over for a couple of days. My partner booked the room as an Executive Room and was told that it would be £190 for the two nights; a little pricey but worth it, it was a Marco Pierre White... More

A beautiful hotel with tonnes of space and bags of character let down only by the stinking attitude of its Receptionists. What a huge shame that the face of the hotel is sour and struggles with eye contact. Other than that the stunning hotel is set in beautiful surroundings a short drive from Bath and was a pleasure to stay.

Myself and my wife had a Groupon deal to stay at this hotel on the nights of 26th and 27th of August. All up the cost was £218 for the two nights on half board. It certainly is a fine building from the outside but, on the inside, it is quite dark. Our accommodation was in the 'Treetops' annexe which... More

Awful! Bought a groupon deal for this hotel. Checked in and checked out within the hour! Dark & dingy! No cosiness or atmosphere. The so called lounge bar had shabby seating & 2 pool tables in it. More like a sports bar! Renovation going on so noisy from builders! I've asked for a refund. Should not be advertised as groupon... More

I rung and booked with the hotel after buying a group on voucher over the internet. It was a 2 night stay to celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday. I booked a month in advance and rung on 3 occasions to book, amend and confirm the booking. I emailed on the Wednesday prior to the Saturday arrival, no reply. I rung... More

We bought a Groupon voucher for night's stay with 3 course meal at the Marco Pierre White restaurant in what looked in the pictures like a beautiful old country house. Beware trusting pictures! Indeed on the outside it is a lovely old stately home, which unfortunately does not reflect the inside. It is dark and dingy with incongruous 80s glossy... More

Just had a lovely Saturday overnight stay. The staff, were, without exception, friendly professional and welcoming. We were on a Groupon deal and our room was in the treetops building. It was clean and comfortable. The main building is quirky and the grounds are gorgeous. The food was great. Would definitely recommend it and can't wait to go again and... More
