Our daughter was taking part in a gruelling cross-country run - Slaughterford 9 - starting in Leafy Lane, Corsham. What could be better than staying at the Rudloe Arms in Leafy Lane so she could get a good night's rest after a pleasant meal so close to the start. The answer, anything. Anything could have been better. It was odd... More

Me and my girlfriend came to The Rudloe Arms for a single night getaway and we were not disappointed. Virtually everything was brilliant - the location, the grounds, the decor and the food! We had a great 3-course meal for our dinner and it was great, and regardless of the other reviews I read; the breakfast was brilliant and there... More

Got back fa few hours ago & still trying to get warm! The only warm place in the building was the bar, I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere so uncomfortably cold. We booked the Rudloe Arms on a voucher deal & didn't expect to get a fantastic room, but this hotel is very poor. Although this is a beautiful... More

The title says it all. Although there was rooms available in the main building I was shuffled off to the annex where there was no heating. My room at 7 in the evening was 12 degrees C No heating it was supposed to have been repaired that day. It was not working -why put me there. I was offered another... More

Well we arrived at the Rudloe having read mostly good but a couple of bad reviews, but I'm definitely on the side of the good reviews. It's still a work in progress but our room (No 12) was really quaint, very large and contained steps either side of the end wall which led to room/landing area with fabulous views (now... More

we booked a room in the Amex ground floor as I have difficulty with stairs. the room was really freezing . We went to reception and told the very nice receptionist. That we could not stay in that room. She offered us an extra duvet...We asked for coffee as we were so cold and asked where the lounge was....We were... More

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This hotel is disgusting. There is no way on earth I would ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Dog poo in the bar, mouldy ceiling, no toilet roll, dripping roof, no heating, dangerous objects on the floor, broken bath plug, dirty bed sheets.... Marco you should be ashamed of yourself! Even the WIFI... More

Never again will we visit this hotel and if other Marco Pierre hotels are like this one they will be crossed off our list. Four of us visited this hotel on a living social deal and on arrival we told by reception that we had all been upgraded to superior rooms. Our friends had the tower room which was admittedly... Have to say, this was one of the strangest hotels stays I have ever experienced! Driving up to the building you see a beautiful period building. Inside, the laundry was sitting in its bag in reception waiting to be dealt with. Having checked in we went upstairs to find our room. After negotiating the bucket in the middle of the... More

Thankfully we only stayed for one night at the Rudloe Arms. The check in was a little chaotic, however the receptionist was very pleasant and appeared to wear a number of hats. Bar person, receptionist and so on. Got up to our room - No 6 in the main building. Room smelt a little musty, bathroom was extremely tired and... More
