This Inn had recently been refurbished. The accommodation is excellent, contempory, clean and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast was wonderful and the service and attitude of the staff was superb There is a great atmosphere here although if you are a light sleeper beware that the rooms are over the public areas and you may be disturbed. more

Very reasonably priced rooms with much the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Great bathroom with a large sink and a very good shower. Of all the places we have stayed, it ranks clearly as number 1. The room was spacious and furnished with such taste and tact, from the grand old leather arm chairs to the bath on legs in the middle of the ensuite – it was fit for a king!! Stayed at The Castle for one night in June and LOVED it. Great value for money in a really expensive area, beautifully furnished and very comfortable room, totally coveted the bathroom. We found The Castle Inn via Google and have to say that it exceeded expectations raised by their very inviting web-site. The fabric of the building has been tastefully restored, the bedroom was extremely comfortable and the food (particularly a fabulous breakfast) excellent and of good value.
