Great place. Took a fairly large group (c. 15) there for dinner and drinks, and a couple of us stayed over in rooms two and three. Just returned from one night at the Castle. Room was great, comfortable especially the bed, ensuite was modern and effective. Some with great taste obviously styled these rooms. I found this hotel through the Bradford-on-Avon tourist board and liked it so much, have been back three times. It's great value for money and absolutely loved our room (4 i think) with the massive bathroom and roll top bath. Found this pub in the Camra Good Beer Guide (as usual). Me & the Mrs arrived mid evening on the Friday, Pierre (the landlord) helped us in with the luggage. Had dinner in the pub Friday & Saturday. Good food, good service & a really excellent choice of local ales. Left on Monday after a great stay, reasonably priced too.... more
