Having been for many walks along the Beaitiful river in BOA , decided one day to just pop in for a glass of red just to relax as the pub is directly past the route I walk along . Looked really nice with good character from the outside, but with what can only be described as pound shop Christmas wrapping... More

No car park so you have to use a pay and display until 6p.m and you can only stay for 3 hours. The outside area needs tidying up, it's in a great position right on the riverbank so it seems a shame not to have a well presented garden. The bar area smelt very damp and musty, we just had... More

The hotel itself has an ideal location, next to the river Avon. Amazing old building, parking is not really an issue either but you have to pay alot. That is where it ends. On entering the pub (inn) we were met by a full skip that was overflowing. It smelt horrible. We were met by someone at reception who asked... More

Ok we arrived very early in the morning & they got our room early so we could get our heads down - so very happy with the service & friendliness. It is in a great location close to the town centre, train station & river - perfect really. The major complaint is the cleanliness, I ordered lunch & the cutlery... More

Stayed overnight and so glad took no notice of previous reviews. Our room was compact but clean throughout and lovely comfy bed with outlook over the river. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We never had to pay for a morning paper, that's a first ! All staff were pleasant and welcoming. The only comment for improvement would be to... More

My girlfriend and I have just had a weekend at the Riverside Inn at Bradford on Avon, booked through Groupon. If we had taken too much notice of the bad reviews that appear on this site, we would've not booked in the first place. However I have to speak as I find and we found the hotel to be clean,... More

We stayed at the Riverside as a Groupon purchase. Our first ever, and unfortunately due to this experience may well be our last. I guess Hotels/restaurants that use Groupon do so out of desperation. This seemed the case with the Riverside. First impression - Filthy, unwelcoming, complete lack of care. This is a lovely old building (apart from the converted... More

We stayed at the Riverside Inn with a Groupon Voucher, the location was beautiful but the hotel is so in need of some TLC. The rooms were quite a nice size but were spoilt by a very dirty carpet, a stained duvet without a cover and towels that were clean but wet. The staff were friendly but the bar area... More

Lovely river view - such a shame this was spoilt by a fithy carpet complete with large toenail clipping, dirty windows (which were single skin - very thin, potentially lethal), cobwebs all over the place, damp towels and a bathroom complete with mouldy patches and an already used bath mat. We removed the coverlet from the bed to find that... More
