Lovely family owned hotel/B&B. We had to ask for an early check in due to travelling through the night (8hr drive) and we were both rather tired. This was no trouble at all. Carey & Diane were lovely. Great customer service. Felt like a home from home. The bed was extremely comfy. Room clean and tidy. Great big bath Views... More

Lovely historic building, great elevated position, boasting excellent views. The communal areas are pleasant, with nice antiquities. Gracious host who was extremely accommodating about our early arrival Our room, “The Chinese Room” with its terrific view overlooking the town, was spotlessly clean but with dated decor. The bathroom contained a bath with a hand held shower with almost no water... More

...or is it elegantly casual? Priory Steps on the hillside a few minutes up from and overlooking Bradford on Avon town centre has “location” aplenty. It has “back story” too: these converted weavers cottages were formerly the home of Mary Petre Bruce, the 1930’s aviator and first woman to fly solo round the world. Priory Steps has definitely got style.... More

My friend and I had never been to Bradford on Avon before and what a joy to stay in a terrace of houses with such character and charm. From the minute that Carey met us at the station, we felt ''at home''. The location is wonderful, being close to everything but Carey had offered to meet us at the station... More

Carey and Diana are so nice and the place is gorgeous! The garden, the bedroom, the library, breakfast room, everything so nice and cosy. The breakfast is wonderful and the beds are comfortable. They provided a cot for baby and they have a gorgeus antique style high chair for the little ones. We truly felt at home here, thank you... More

We decided to stay here as on the map it seemed to central location to make everything within easy reach. We were not disappointed. Our room had gorgeous views over Bradford-on-Avon and glimpses of the White Horse on Salisbury Plains. Our room was simply furnished but very comfortable. There was a flat screen TV, kettle and tea making facilities. There... More

Diana and Carey Chapman have converted a terrace of old weavers' cottages into a five-bedroom bed and breakfast accommodation. The Chapmans are delightful and friendly, and made our stay very pleasant. The hotel itself is a bit quirky, as you might expect being nearly 400 years old. Some walls have been knocked down and others built, resulting in a building... More

We opted for this B&B due to it's location and views of Bradford-on-Avon, and it didn't disappoint. There's off road parking, and, as the name of the place suggests, there's steps to the side of the property leading down into the centre of Bradford (they are quite steep mind, but hardly on the scale of Everest) So it's perfectly situated... Have stayed several times at Carey and Diana's charming house. Wonderfully situated above picturesque Bradford on Avon. Stayed in the Blue room suite this time. Very comfy huge bed. Service is extremely personal, breakfast was delicious and the whole ambience that the Chapmans create is very special. Amazing dining room and library and stunning views over the town.
