Do not miss this lovely Herb Cottage. Suzanne is a lovely host, in beautiful quiet surroundings. Healthy and wholesome breakfast will start your day and scenery you must not miss. Just a short drive to Bath it would have to be the place to drive back to relax after sightseeing for the day. Try more than one night here it... More

Staying at the Herb Cottage is like staying in Mom's home. You will be in one of the two very comfortable ensuite rooms upstairs with plenty of space and views out to the garden and the countryside. The hostess will receive you as though you are one of her dearest friends. She is very familiar with the region and most... More

Beautiful views, in a tranquil setting, with a great host. Our host was very helpful and knowledgeable with advice about places to visit, was able to provide maps and tourist info. We felt so welcome.

You may not find it by chance, it is a bit like a hidden treasure. The cottage’s character is typical English, tidy, neat and charming, with a bright annex - the garden-room- where a luxurious breakfast is served. It is surrounded by a well-kept beautiful garden. Our spacious room upstairs (we had the twin) was very comfortable and well equipped,... More

We spent four extremely comfortable nights in this wonderful and peaceful cottage. A perfect find on the internet, one that we would highly recommend and hope to return to in the not too distant future. Suzanne could not have been a more perfect host - agree with previous authors - it was more like staying with a friend! Nothing was... More

This was our first stop following a long flight from Australia, we were warmly welcomed by Suzanne. We were travelling as a couple accompanied by a friend so used both rooms. After depositing our luggage we joined Suzanne in the lounge for a much appreciated cup of tea accompanied by cake. Our rooms were beautifully presented, clean, comfortable with everything... More

My husband and I stayed at Herb Cottage for two nights and by the end of our trip we wanted to move in! The cottage is a hidden gem, tucked off the road and surrounded by a gorgeous garden filled with the aroma of the hundreds of flowers. The building itself is beautiful with stunning countryside views, especially from the... More

She's doing quite well with her computer skills but not quite there yet so please accept her thanks (through me), for your reveiw. Kind Regards. Martin Wise More

Our too short stay ( 2 nights ) was utterly delightful- firstly because the house itself breathes peace, and Suzanne ,our host, added conversations ranging widely from architecture to technological progress ( or not ). We were spoiled by delicious breakfasts and soothing cups of tea, and felt really rested and refreshed by the end of our stay. Suzanne's local... More

What a charming and delightful B&B with an equally charming and delightful host, Suzanne! Suzanne makes you feel welcome as soon as you arrive, you feel as though you are visiting friends rather than guests, nothing is too much trouble!
