we are seasoned b and b travellers and this bb we did not like at all. Its a beautiful building in an excellent location. The host was not welcoming at all...we felt like intruders...we felt like we were being told off for being 5 mins late down to breakfast and were told to be at breakfast for 8.50 [ strange... More

Dear Guests- I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay at Lynchetts. I don’t remember you but I do recall being disappointed in having to serve an overcooked breakfast including pancakes and bacon because the guests were quite late for a pre-agreed breakfast slot. Guests are shown the kettle in the breakfast room which can be used both for... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lynchetts is a unique Georgian house and the room wholly reflected that charm and character. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful with plenty of information about the town and area. The room was very comfortable - no TV except in the guest lounge, but that was absolutely fine. Tea and coffee are available at all times... More

Our 3 nights at Lynchetts were fabulous. The house is beautiful and quirky, stylish and engaging. Glenys and her husband were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fabulous with home made jams and compote adding a lovely touch. We will certainly stay there again and have recommended Lynchetts to all our friends!!

We have stayed at Lynchetts twice now and absolutely love the place. I would always have Lynchetts as my first choice to stay in Bradford on Avon. Glenys Lunt and her husband are always warm and welcoming - the house is absolutely stunning and the breakfasts superb. Yes the stairs from the attic room to the bathroom are very steep,... More

We had a most enjoyable stay at Lynchetts in the beautiful town of Bradford on Avon. The location was very close to the center of town. The breakfast was excellent and dinner at the nearby fish and chips restaurant capped off a wonderful day. The house has great views from the beautiful gardens. A very impressive property!

We decided to stay at Lynchetts following very positive reviews on Trip Advisor and were looking forward to our visit, however we were sorely disappointed. I've just re-read the reviews on Trip Advisor and note that someone referred to the attitude of the host and we totally agree that this was the main thing that let the stay down. Our... More

Miss X and her elderly mother seem to have been watching too many TV programmes such as "The Hotel Inspector" and obviously do not appreciate the privilege of being able to experience B & B in a Georgian Grade 2* listed family home. Their requirements and expectations would be better met in a large, fully staffed hotel . Much more... More

We had travelled to the West Country for a sports event and decided to book one night in this area on our way home. It turned out it was a very busy weekend in Bradford and we were so lucky to find a room available at Lynchetts. We were welcomed with tea and home made biscuits. Our room was quaint... More

We spent four nights at this B&B and found the experience to be outstanding. Our room was very spacious with two closets, plenty of surface space for odds and ends, very clean and with an extremely comfortable bed. There was also a large sitting room we could use on the ground floor, and a room on the upper floor which... More

We stayed for two nights and would have loved to stay longer. Glenys, the landlady couldn't have been more helpful and made us feel really at home. The house itself is charming and unique and boasts outstanding gardens. Delicious breakfast with home grown fruit compote and jams...simply wonderful. We would certainly recommend a visit and can't wait to stay again.

We stayed here for one night but could have stayed longer. Mrs Lunt was lovely and helpful. Her food - homemade biscuits, jams, honey all were great. The garden really does give good views over the area. Our room didn't have a television, and I think some people might not have liked that. However, we were more than happy, and... More
