We stayed for 2 nights at the bath arms neither was exemplary, and to be honest for £145 per night i expect a certain level of professionalism. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to treat themselves On arrival we were ignored whilst the staff ran around not doing a great deal, check in was fine and we... more

What a fantastic find this place was, the room was ornate and beautiful with a lovely panoramic view. The pub below was warm and welcoming and we really didn't want to leave. We would recommend this place to anybody visiting Longleat and the surrounding areas, absolutely faultless. more

Well, we made the classic mistake of going to the wrong bath arms, that is the one in Crockerton! However we were soon on our way and pulled up in the beautiful village of Horningsham. The hotel (pub) is lovely to look at and the outside is covered in Ivy. We had been told in advance to just park wherever... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here as a last minute 'The Elevent Hour' before we spent the day at Long Leat. It is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. I would recommend that you stay here if you have to travel any distance to visit Long Leat. The food was really good too!! more

Just returned from 2 nights at the bath arms for an anniversary weekend and have to say the Bath Arms is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff we always helpful and polite. Our bedroom, the oriental, was fabulously decorated with a huge ornate bed frame and the attention... more

My boyfriend and I have just returned from a two night stay over Valentines Day. We had a large deluxe room in the outbuilding and it was absolutely fantastic. Extremely clean, bedroom was beautifuly decorated and the bathroom was lovely! The bedroom had patio doors all around it which led to the car park but with the curtains closed you'd... more

We've just returned from a weekend at the Bath Arms, Longleat and I have to say, we were very disappointed. Considering the reviews the hotel has in some well respected guidebooks, we really expected more for our money. It's really a swanky pub with rooms rather than a boutique hotel. There was a suprising lack of attention to detail that... more

We stayed here to go and look at Longleat House and Lord Bath's murals which were fantastic. This hotel is a real gem - we had The Peacock Room which was one of the best hotel rooms we have ever stayed in, but asked to look at the other rooms out of curiosity because they were so interesting in terms... more

Very disappointed, we were on our honeymoon and booked a room from a picture on the website. When we arrived we were in a different room stating we had booked late even though I had booked 4 months in advance. Walls very thin could hear our neighbours reading a story to their children at 5.30am!!. Room had single beds which... more

An old country inn in a tiny village just outside Longleat. We stayed in a double in the barn conversion just outside the main house. It was cosy and individual, with old furniture, a high vaulted ceiling, and a slate-tiled bathroom. The rooms in the main house are probably even better, if you have the choice (we didn't, having booked... more
