This quaint little hotel is really convenient for Longleat Safari . Although it’s not geared as a family hotel; they were very accommodating and pleased to help please everyone. We were very pleased with our stay.

My husband and I stayed here recently and found it to be rather disappointing. The hotel is ideally situated for Longleat Safari Park as it is just a few minutes drive away however I think the hotel is trading on that rather than providing a good experience for guests. As previous reviews have stated, the staff are all very friendly... More

Apart from the waitress, Tansy, who was very pleasant and helpful, we found our visit very unsatisfactory! One older male waiter did not get anything correct that we ordered from him and seemed somewhat out of his debt. The bill was incorrect as we were charged for double the coffees we had. We chose not to pay the whole of... More

Where to start? A promising location, and friendly helpful staff, but something is just out of synch. Our booking was tied to Longleat tickets and made 7 months in advance. They put us in 2 rooms at opposite ends of the site - one up several flights of stairs in a quaint head-banging under the eves conversion, and the other... More

The Bath Arms is perfectly located if, like us, you want an early start at Longleat Safari park as it is just a few minutes drive away. That is where the positives end really! There are no signs for reception because there is no reception. After wandering between the two bars with our luggage we finally found someone who checked... More

I must confess I had some reservations when I booked our latest weekend at the Bath Arms. I have stayed before and found it to be wonderful but the change of management and adverse reviews filled me with trepidation! I needn't have worried, we stayed for Friday and Saturday night on our way back from Devon to the Midlands taking... More

I'm afraid my wife and I, and the other twenty plus members of the party who were attending a wedding locally, had a very poor experience at The Bath Arms. At £205 per night for B&B it was positively overpriced. Everyone complained the rooms and bathrooms are very tired. Typically one couple said their shower fitting was broken and they... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review on the Bath Arms at Longleat. I have discussed your comments with the Manager of the department, regarding the rates quoted and have been informed that due to the number of rooms required for the weekend the only rates we could quote were dinner, bed and breakfast rates. This was... More

I wanted to take my daughter to Longleat so the hotel was an obvious choice. Check in was a bit slow but the receptionist was very nice, friendly and helpful. Some of the staff however should not be allowed n public. My daughter is autistic and is extremely uncomfortable if strangers speak to her. One member of staff seemed not... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Bath Arms. Thank you for your kind comments on the rest of our staff, however, I am disappointed to read that this was not the case with all of the staff. I have discussed with the staff on duty on the day and can confirm that your request... More

My daughter and I stayed here on Monday 11th August as we wanted to be close to Longleat Safari park - it is about 2 very pretty miles away in a quintessentially English village. We got a fantastic last minute deal of £85 for room and breakfast and were thrilled to be upgraded to the Peacock room with a four... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bath Arms is a unique hotel, located on Lord Bath’s magnificent Longleat Estate in the charming Wiltshire village of Horningsham. We aspire to offer quirky luxury accommodation. The rooms are nothing if not original and a little unconventional. While simple and beautifully cooked, British locally sourced food is our culinary philosophy. Our beers come from local breweries, we rear our own pigs. If our vegetables are not grown on site, they are sourced within a 50 mile radius. ... more   less
