My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bath Arms in Horningsham. The managers, Peter and Jamie should be commended for maintaining a team of well trained and motivated staff - always smiling with a can do attitude. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. We awoke in the morning to the sound of wolves howling... More

We stayed 2 nights and were very pleased with the hotel's wonderful setting, nice bar area and good food. Unfortunately they were clearly under-staffed and the staff working seemed inexperienced and as a result flustered. Our booking for dinner (on our wedding anniversary) was not processed and we had to eat in the bar instead. The staff were eventually apologetic... More

The room we stayed in was nicely decorated and clean. But the bed was really hard, we woke up a view times at night, that's how uncomfortable it was. Plus u can hear the noises from other rooms which makes it even worse. The dinner at the hotel was really beautiful and the staff were extremely helpfull. Excellent service there.... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days after a previous stay in 2010. I found the food good and the staff and service excelllent. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in either recommending a stay to others or staying here again. More

We stayed here for one night after visiting the safari park at longleat, i was gutted that we didnt stay more than one night! After reading the reviews i was a little worried about where we would end up but we couldnt have been more pleased. We stayed in the peacock room, what a stunning room. Although its worn it... More

We booked for four nights but only stayed one - it was so disappointing. The Bath Arms is not a hotel. It’s a pub with rooms. We were shown to a dingy room in converted stables a few paces beyond their beer garden, having to pass through a group of doorway smokers. The room was very cold and took several... More

We are obviously disappointed that we were unable to meet this reviewer's expectations. Unfortunately their experience was exacerbated by the failure of the intermediate booking organisation to promptly refund the unused nights they had paid for, despite our request for them to do so. More

We were really looking forward to a romantic one night break in this hotel and were wholly disappointed by the experience. The whole set up does not work. There is no proper reception area and you have to wait in the bar for someone to meet you and show you your room. We where met by Michelle who was rude... More

10 of us inc 4 teens turned up after a walk in the rain, we were met with very friendly faces even though we were soaking. Were hoping to dry out but the two lit open fires didn't give out any heat as they are set back too far in the grate and the heat goes straight up the chimney.... More

I stayed here in 2007 and had a really nice time so was expecting the same. We were on an impromptu adventure so hadn't booked when we arrived, the welcome was friendly and we were shown to a room (oriental) that looked nice. It was quite pricey at £120 but as it looked nice we thought we'd treat ourselves. The... More
