There has been some refurbishment, which makes the rooms look a bit brighter - and the bathroom fittings are all in good repair now. Generally helpful staff. It did the job for £26, but not worth £50.

We arrived and were given keys to a family room. In the room there was one hand towel and one bath towel. No mugs or spoons for brewing up. The duvet cover was not fitted correctly- a foot of duvet was hanging down the side of the bed. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn't work. And then down the... More

We are sorry to learn of your disappointing stay Nightaway276. Your room should be set-up correctly for you with the correct amount of linen, towels, pillows and essentials. Our housekeeping teams follow a regular routine when preparing a room and we are sorry to learn that the standard of cleanliness has fallen below our expectations. We will ensure our hotel... More

Stayed here whilst visiting Longleat safari for a few days. Was ok for the price, Nice comfy bed. Room was clean. Quick access to fast food if needed - as mentioned in another review - can smell stale fat when walking through entrance.

This was a standard Travelodge - we had 3 rooms across our party and the doubles upstairs were great - would have given 4 rating - but our family room downstairs was just average. The room was good, but the bathroom was poorly done - if it had been refurbed that is. The taps and toilet were stained and it... More

Thank god this travelodge has had a refurb. I stayed before and vowed never to return, but a lack of other options meant we booked again. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are much cleaner now, and beds more comfortable. Good sized car park and perfect location for a stay whilst visiting longleat. Staff are friendly and were accommodating when... More

Only opted for a Travelodge on this trip as previous reviews were good and had stated that the bedrooms in this venue had been recently refurbished. Bedroom was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised. Sadly the entrance was not so inviting as it is shared with the fast food outlets attached to it. This was a somewhat uninviting area and... This was the first time we had stayed at a Travelodge since the recent refurbishment. The new décor looks very fresh - gone is the hideous orange with one wall now being a pastel blue. The runner on the new king size bed picks out this blue along with grey and red stripes, with matching curtains. The bed was very... More

My two girls and I stayed at this Travel Lodge Sunday 3rd November 2013 so we could be early for arrival at Centre Parcs on the Monday morning. After looking at the reviews I was beginning to think I had done the wrong thing by booking it. We arrived after a long journey and it was raining and the girls... More

We stayed for two nights to visit Longleat and Bath. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was very clean and nicely equipped. The restaurants next door are very useful as we did not find much around locally. We understand that the rooms were redecorated in September and this seems to have been well done. Very nice stay.

We stayed here for 1 night after a day at Longleat before heading for Devon the next day. It was a half way point for us. We booked 2 family rooms. The pull out sofas we had to make up ourselves, one room quite hot, no air conditioning and one room the telly was intermittent. The staff were obviously not... More
