We stayed here whilst visiting family at Centre Parcs and were surprised and delighted by what we found. Despite arriving late, we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome - the owners apologised for not being able to give us a full dinner but then brought an incredible tray of puddings and treats! Lovely large room really nicely decorated... More

From the outside you're met with a quaint tavern look. As you enter, the impression continues. The building's restoration has been achieved beautifully. Dark, rich wooden panels and bare wooden flooring throughout the bar/restaurant area adding a cosy feel to the place. We were greeted by staff quickly and shown to our room. The room had a beautiful bare brick... More

Nice to stay in a hotel which reminded you of the old fashiined Inns of days gone by, nice and clean with lovely staff. Continental breakfast with fresh fruit included in the price, there was a small charge for a full english breakfast which we sampled on one of the days which was excellent. Longleat is just up the road... More

Firstly, the hotel was easy to find and the welcome and ambience was good, but it would have been nice if the fire had been lit in the bar/reception when we arrived at 4ish on a very cold February day. The receptionist/bar tender was helpful and got us checked into our room with no problems. The room was pleasant, warm,... More

Have visited this place a few times, but never reviewed it until now. Turned up on a very busy Friday night but they were more than happy to fit us in. First off the food is excellent, great selection and you get more than you think, well worth the money. The scotch egg as a starter is superb. They are... More

Just had a wonderful lunch at The Weymouth Arms, great atmosphere with a lovely log fire, oak panelling and very attentive staff, very reasonably priced with generously sized portions. Brought my partner here for a birthday meal. Would thoroughly recommend

My husband and I booked to stay here for our anniversary weekend and we brought our little two year old daughter with us. It was simply fantastic. A beautiful quaint, traditional, friendly establishment with wonderful owners and staff. Everyone there, including the other guests, were simply delightful to be around and were ever so kind. They have facilities for babies/children... More
