We stayed overnight at the Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa and had a really lovely time. The receptionist was very welcoming and the person who showed us to our room, pointing out where everything was on the way, was equally as friendly. Our room was at the top of the first set of stairs and was huge! The one downside to... More

My husband and I visited today for full afternoon tea. This was served by well trained staff who whilst attentive, were at the same time unobtrusive. This was served in the Library sitting in comforting sofas near a roaring log fire. The cakes and desserts offered were clearly all made on site, with a good selection offered and rounded off... This is a great hotel if you want to relax in the countryside and visit the nearby Longleat Safari Park! We were particularly impressed with the hotel staff, top quality customer service (podziekowania dla polskiej zalogi :) ). The spa facilities are really good and it wasn't too crowded which made the experience that more relaxing. We stayed in room... More

I booked 3 nights at Bishoptrow to celebrate my birthday & it was great. The communal areas were warm & cosy, the food was excellent & the staff very kind. It was great to be able to take my Jack Russell & the grounds were large for walks. I had a treatment in the spa which was very good. I... More

We stayed here for one night for a birthday lunch. It was a pleasant experience. The room was lovely and spacious with a superb bathroom. The food was good and the staff courteous and helpful. Try the spa I had an excellent pedicure. The swimming pools are good. Indoor and out. Well worth a visit

We stayed here on Thursday 21st November on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. We were made welcome from the moment we checked in. A lovely room with the best bathroom you've ever seen, everything was very clean and luxurious. We had a swim in the indoor pool and used the Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna-all was very clean. We... Bishopstrow is an imposing Georgian Mansion, just outside Warminster. I would describe it as a little dated in terms of décor, but in pretty good condition (and excellent in the new parts). Beds are very comfortable, with good Egyptian cotton sheets. My room (No 7) was too dark (the side lamps are far too dim to read by), the TV... More

Stayed here on a business trip, as it was only £99 per night to including breakfast. Whilst the exterior looks great the interior is 'tired'. I was staying in the main house and the room itself was huge, however the bed was over soft and the sofa was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was also very large and had... More

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at The Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa which is rated 4*AA but with a 5* Service. The hotel is an Old Manor style house with the coach house converted into rooms (where we stayed) On arrival we were early and room was not quite ready was told us to leave our... More

What can I say about the Bishopstrow? Perfect springs to mind. Beautiful hotel, wonderful grounds, very attentive staff who do not impose but appear as if by magic when you need them. We stayed so we could visit the Longleat Chinese display, which is magical and worth a visit to see the lights if nothing else. Breakfast has too much... More
