VERY good staff - always attentive but not intrusive. Welcoming and friendly, without being over the top. When we arrived and saw all the building works going on our hearts sank - but in fact it had no impact on us at all - all very quiet and unobtrusive. Booked by phone just the day before with no problem at all, very friendly, helpful staff. Their website did say the there was some work being carried out on the outside pool and restaurant but didn't quite mention the impact it would have on the stay. We stayed in Bishopstrow House for the first May Bank holiday this year as we wanted to visit Longleat. Lovely hotel and very friendly staff; they were especially nice to our 3 year old son.
