The drive up to this Hotel is very impressive as it is set in its own grounds and oozes a feeling of rest and relaxation. Parking is ample, with some places outside the entrance and a large car park just 100 meters away. On arrival booking in was easy and our room was ready for us. A Porter was on... More

Firstly, this isn't a review of the hotel itself. Not knowing the area and needing somewhere to stop after a long motorway drive from London, we followed the signs for Bishopstrow House. As we drove up to the car park and saw the terrace we knew this would do! We were seated immediately at a table on the outdoor terrace... More

I booked this through Secret Escapes for my birthday. I informed the hotel of this and on our arrival we were upgraded to a large split level suite with a large bathroom with roll top bath. The room was slightly dated but very clean. The Rasul treatment was included in the package for myself and my husband, the lady in... More

We have stayed here for a romantic break on two occasions. We stayed in a suit, had treatments and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service is great, nothing is too much trouble. The decoration is tasteful, well kept and lovely grounds surrounding the hotel. The food is wonderful (I am fussy and always have something to moan about but... More

We visited Bishopstrow for afternoon tea with a party of 8 across 3 generations. Our welcome was Luke warm when shown to the lounge. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco and our treats of sandwiches and cakes arrived. The initial glass of fizz was poured for us and the tea looked delicious. We would of like more sandwiches for the... It must have been my 5th Spa day here over last couple of years, and quite disappointed this time! I was suppose to have a 55 min treatment with back massage and express facial. It turned out to be an express massage and did not get any better after that. In total my treatment 45 min, so whole 10min short.... More

This hotel would be a 4 star due to a few niggling details, but the people employed there are so helpful that I bumped it up to five. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had reserved a twin room, but when we discovered that it was a double, they immediately sent someone to change the bedding. Every employee was... More

this is a very good spa hotel in a convenient spot for Longleat safari park. The hotel is a beautiful house and the lounge, bar and entrance hall full of character. Our room was in another block and was a very good room with a separate sitting area and two TV's. It had a beautiful bathroom with a good shower... More

From the sweeping drive up to this beautiful stone mansion to the lovely walk down by the river on the the grounds, this wonderful place perfectly combines modern elegance with old-fashioned luxury. The rooms are stunningly furnished and perfectly finished. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite but from what I saw of the other rooms, they were all... More

I recently spent a night with an old friend at this hotel. I only booked it because I was visiting someone in Warminster. Our stay was just perfect, from the moment we arrived until we left, sadly only one night. Our room was amazing, the staff very helpful, food very good and grounds all very lovely. Oh yes, and I...
