Irene and John are friendly and very good host. They made sure I was happy with my stay even provided me with a new toothbrush after mine feel apart and a banana for my onward journey. I stayed here for one night on my way to Devon. On arrival Irene was at the door to greet me. She kindly showed... More

We have just spent two nights at Cornerways (just on the outskirts of the village Zeals) in an en-suite double with breakfast. Arrived to a very warm welcome from the owners who could not have been more helpful. Cornerways is a lovely cottage with charm and character. Our room was very comfortable with shower / bath etc, and the breakfast... More

We had a family funeral in Yeovil the following noon so wanted somewhere in the vicinity at short notice, to stay the night before. I consider we were very lucky to randomly choose this lovely sympathetically-modernised cottage and that 2 rooms were available for a Sunday night! 'We' being 2 adults with 2 grown sons. Irene and John were lovely... More

I have just returned from Cornerways Cottage for a two night stay with my mother while we visited family in Dorset. My parents have previously stayed here and I think that's why Irene and John allowed us to stay again as over breakfast one morning Irene informed us that she hadn't been allowing new guests to stay. John and Irene... More

We have just returned from 2 nights which was very pleasant, good breakfast, pretty spot and lovely old cottage. We had the four poster bed with en suite and found it convenient for Longleat and also found other places we would wish to visit near by staying again. We got lost a few times but that is just us. John... More

I stayed here for one night after dropping my son off with his Grandparents at Center parcs. I was alone and was given such a warm and friendly welcome. Irene made me a pot of tea with two toasted pancakes. My room was a double with an en suite bathroom. It was extremely comfortable and I had a great night's... More

We spent three comfortable nights in the double room at the Cornerways Cottage. The location is superb for visiting Stourhead and only a short distance from Longleat. Our host Irene was extremely friendly and made us feel really welcome. I'd consider coming back for another visit.

Lovely welcome from hosts Irene and John, they really cannot do enough for you. The room had all we needed, very comfortable and... More

We had a lovely stay at the Cornerways Cottage in Zeals, only a mile away from great sites to visit such as Stourhead. Host Irene and her husband welcomed us with fresh tea and scones with cream and jam. The house is lovely and old and has a great atmosphere. Good beds and a nice bathroom. Walking distance from The... More

I stayed at Cornerways for four nights in July 2010 with my wife and two grown up children. Between us we occupied two of the three rooms available; one a double and the other a twin. The double room has a nice ensuite bathroom and the twin has its own bathroom but a short walk along a landing. This is... More
