My family and I chose to stay at Deverill End with a view to visiting Longleat Safari Park, just 7 minutes drive away. Joy and Sim run a charming, homely and well maintained B&B. Both front and rear gardens are beautifully tended and the property has a fabulous view over the downs. Just the ticket for a relaxing weekend! Upon... More

We stayed with Joy and Sim Greathead in May 2014. They gave us a really warm welcome with tea and biscuits in the garden, which is most attractive and has views over fields of cattle, and up to the downs. Our room was small but cosy, the beds were superb and we slept extremely well on good quality mattresses. The... More

We stayed for 3 nights. Had everything you could want. Beautiful clean rooms. WiFi and a welcoming cup of tea or coffee. Parking was a bit tight for our estate car but we could reverse out onto the road or if one of the other cars had gone (ours was one of three) it was easy to turn and drive... More

My husband and I stayed at Deverill End Bed and Breakfast for a weekend break our dear daughter had organised for us at the end of this month,May 2014. Dear Sim and Joy greeted us at the door with such warmth and care, welcoming us into their beautiful home. Our double bedroom was comfortable, cosy and spotless with the most inspiring view... More

Nothing was too much trouble, we felt really welcome and thoroughly spoilt. Very good breakfast, all home produced ingredients, all you could possibly eat. I agree with previous reviews the bathroom was very small but adequate and not much storage space but it was not a problem for us. Fantastic views from the windows, pretty garden, field of sheep and... More

My family stayed at Sim and Joy's beautiful house whilst visiting Longleat. They were welcoming and extremely friendly. Nothing was too much bother! Sim and Joy are nearly totally self sufficient , with our Sunday breakfast having free range eggs and home made fruit compote to name a few! We would love to go back and spend longer there and... We've stayed at Deverill End three times. We've tried many of the Warminster area B&Bs, being regular visitors, and this is our favourite. Quiet surroundings, lovely garden and views, charming hosts, home grown food etc. Easy access to Salisbury and Longleat. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights so we could make a weekend out of visiting Longleat Safari Park which is a short drive away. The advantage of this is that Joy & Sim (the B&B owners) were able to provide us with discounted tickets so this worked out very well! Deverill End is a very small B&B run by a... More

We have read all the past reviews. From our -inaugural - experience of this lovely, homely, hospitable, family-owned and run B&B we fail to understand the one "underwhelmed" review. Joy and Sim successfully went out of their way to ensure that our two night stay was comfortable and relaxing. Lots of hot shower water, lovely quiet moments in the swing... More
