Staye at the old bell hotel November 20th and 21st 2014, booked primarily merely a place to kip and hadn't wanted to spend too much as knew would not be in hotel/room much. Purpose of stay was for easy access to longleat....which it certainly is. Had been a little concerned over karaoke/disco held late into evenings but had been reassured... More

Spent one night at this hotel mid-week and to be fair a lot of the reviews are accurate when describing its dated interior and which is certainly in urgent need of attention and/or full renovation. To be honest I would not really call this a ‘Hotel’ myself but more of a bar with some available rooms. They’re not modern by... More

This is a lovely place to stay if you are down visiting Longleat Safari park as I was. Its only a 10 minute drive, and is very reasonable. The accommodation is a Traditional Inn with a few rooms, and a very nice pub / restaurant. The room was modern and spacious, with a comfy bed. There was no noise from... More

My girlfriend and I made the 150 mile trip down to Longleat Safari park and decided to stay overnight in this hotel/B&B. The room was clean and comfortable, which was what we needed after a very long day. Location to Longleat is great as its only a short drive away. Being at the front of the hotel, we were woken... Stayed one night in double room.Booked on Late rooms for an excellent price. Our room was clean and comfortable and the room was decorated well. There was plenty of hot water although the shower could have been more powerful. We found it quiet in our room on a Sunday night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the... More

We stayed here last weekend. We had 2 rooms both facing the road and although were warned about the late night noise we did not hear a thing. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast lovely. We ate at the pub in the evening which was very nice. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Don't... More
