Stayed at the anchorage for one night expensive for 1 night bed/breakfast £100.00 for two people. The room was lovely but cold the dinner and nightclub were fine Staff excellent but as a previous review came out Sunday morning and car vandalised very upsetting. For an anniversary treat our boyfriends booked us a weekend at the Anchorage. Superb from start to finish. Cool but sunny weather ,even in March. This hotel has developed with a restaurant, bar and night club. Friendly staff, great food and clean, large rooms. Bar staff can't do enough to help, and there is always something happening - music (traditional/jazz) quiz etc. May not be good for families with small children, but a great base to explore from! more
