We were given a lovely welcome when we arrived. The room was very nice and there was plenty of space. The garden was great for our 4 year old. She loved the swing and the fish pond. The breakfast was great and very filling. The honesty box for drinks at night was a novel idea that I haven't seen before.

I recently visted in Aug '14 for a friends wedding and booked Ballycarton as I was unable to book a room at the hotel where most of the wedding guests were staying. I can happily say that I am very glad that I missed the hotel rooms and booked at Ballycarton. Upon arrival Patricia offered me a cup of tea... More

I recently stayed at the Ballycarton with friends for a wedding in Limavady and cannot fault anything. First and foremost, Patricia was a wonderful hostess - very attentive and helpful, catering to our every whim (and we weren't the easiest of groups!). The house and gardens are lovely - clean, extremely well kept - and the location is perfect, providing... More

I took my wife, dad and uncle over to Ireland for a few days to visit relatives and booked for two nights 1 Double and 1 Twin room bed and breakfast. Great location, facilities, room size, amenities, facilities and food. We got great weather and as a photographer Ballycarton's location is superb for the surrounding beaches and hills. Even took... We have stayed at Ballycarton House twice now. Both times, Patricia and Henry were very accommodating, welcoming and friendly. Tea and biscuits on arrival. Nothing is too much trouble. During our stay this time, I had a small accident, which was entirely my own fault. This did not stop Patricia pulling out all the stops. I couldn't have been better... More

Was at a wedding in Limavady recently and my stay in Ballycarton House was absolutely first-class. The room was excellent - it had every amenity one needed for an overnight stay (expecially shower facilities and Wifi!), the service was very friendly (got tea and biscuits on arrival before heading off to the wedding reception in Roe Park which was just... Ok, first I have to apologise to Patricia and Henry as this review is so so so long overdue!! My self and work colleagues stayed at Ballycarton from March 2013 - April 2013 as we were working at a nearby TV mast. The accommodation is of a very high standard, warm, welcoming and very very clean. Patricia is the perfect... More

We had a great time at Ballycarton House and were superbly looked after right from the very friendly welcome. The room was perfect and the house and gardens lovely, not to mention the many cups of tea and lattes we were given! The breakfast was excellent and topped off a great experience. We certainly got the better deal as friends... More

A great Ulster welcome, full of warmth and friendliness. We had a lovely, comfortable two nights with nourishing breakfasts in the conservatory overlooking the garden. And plenty of good chat. This was during a long-planned visit to old family haunts, full of childhood memories so although we hadn't met Patricia Craig before we particularly appreciated her kindness and wealth of... More

We arrived at Ballycarton Guest House to a warm greeting from Patricia, Henry and their 2 grandchildren. She immediately served us coffee, tea and biscuits to enjoy in their lovely garden. The rooms were spotless and the house is beautiful. We had taken a vintage car over on a trailer for a wedding and this was accommodated perfectly, even as to finding... More

Hi both, thank you for your lovely review. I am so glad you got the old girl home safely ( you know who I mean!) I was worried you were going to miss the ferry after all the backtracking to get the iPad, would love to see you back here again sometime, maybe for a christening? More
