Travelodge scores by offering predictably clean, neat and functional rooms at good value for money. OK, they lack character, but as I don't expect to spend any extra time in the hotel, this are all I need. The staff at Alcester were very pleasant and helpful, and had created a very handy leaflet to local attraction.

We have been 8 weeks in the UK and stayed at 16 different hotels, and this hotel is our Number 1 for value. Stayed for 3 nights recently when visiting family in Alcester. This is an excellent budget hotel that absolutely does what it says on the box. It is no noisier than many other more expensive hotels in city... More

Stayed here for 1 night to attend Battle Proms at Ragley Hall. Booked well in advance, so price was very reasonable given the nearby event. In order to avoid the check in rush at 3pm we paid for an early check in so we could relax before going out. Reception checked if the room had been cleaned & complete, it... More

Stayed for 1 night in this travelogde. The noise from the A road outside was horrendous. The room was hot (a fan was provided) The windows have the security cables attached and for anyone suffering with claustrophobia, this is a no go! The keys to unlock the window could not be given to us. The room was clean however. Only... More

Stayed in the Travelodge for 2 nights, had the extra camper bed which i found very comfortable. Had 2 good nights sleep, the shower and TV worked well, nice spacious room. The young man on reception was very polite and friendly. Would stay again.

We stayed for one night to attend the Battle Proms at Ragley Hall. This is a typical Travelodge providing good accommodation at a reasonable price. Only downside is thee is no food available in the hotel but there is a McDonalds right outside and plenty other eateries in the nearby area. We can recommend the Rustic Kitchen in Alcester.

OK, the beds are super-comfortable. Good! Was a bit concerned, when entering my room, to see the duvet pulled back in a haphazard way - looked like a previous guest had checked the bed, found it unacceptable and returned to Reception with a request for a change of room. Personally I had no issues with the room. One bath towel... More

Good hotel clean, well managed, staff helpfull, no restaurant facilities but MacDanalds across road 50 yard away so ok for breakfast etc. The hotel is usually full so book early to avoid disapointment, good price as 7 miles from Stratford so usually cheaper than the town centre hotles.

Old and tired. Totally at odds with the new advert. Cobwebs outside windows at the rear lead to maas spider intrusion. Surly 'welcome'. Ignoring the notice outside the room leading to 5 sets of towels and coffee/tea etc. Miss until they update the room and change the unacceptable mattress

After just coming directly from another Travelodge in Newport which was brilliant you would never believe this hotel was the same chain! The abrupt girl on reception/cleaning on our early arrival should've been an indicator and we left returning sometime later. Room was filthy as was 2nd room offered the only saving grace about this hotel is the pleasant receptionist... More
