My friend ordered a full breakfast and I ordered the healthy option, porridge and 2 toast and two teas. The waitress brought the teas, then my friends breakfast. 5 minutes later she brought the porridge and ten minutes later the toast. I tried to get her attention several times. Eventually she... More

Very last minute overnight, walk up rate reasonable. Clean and comfortable although room a bit battered and dated. Nice restaurant, good breakfast also has coffee bar. Full free wifi. Friendly uncomplicated stay.

With a potential weeks business trip to the area, finding a decent hotel is fundamental. Checking the reviews on trip advisor is a must. I must say , this hotel is excellent, the food , the staff , the room and the location. We ate in the restaurant the food was perfect. The breakfast sets you up for the day... More

What a shame about the poor reviews? I stayed here on a business trip for 4 nights and I must say I thought that the staff and the food were exceptional! Everywhere was perfectly clean and the beds were nice and comfy. This was my second trip to the Seagoe and I would definitely choose to stay there again. I... More

We got married nearby but our venue doesn't have overnight accommodation so my parents paid for us to stay in the Seagoe's honeymoon suite as a gift. The 2 members of staff I encountered on our stay where fine but the room let the hotel down. At £150 for one night and being the honeymoon suite I had expected there... More

We only stay here as it is convenient to family but other than that I wouldn't choose to stay here. Pros: • Breakfast is tasty. Large portions. • Prompt room service. • There were 3 weddings on whilst we were there and we never had any trouble of noise from them. Cons: • Poor choice for breakfast, bored by day... More

Dirty, smelly, food is not edible and for business personnel don't touch the wifi - doesn't work and causes viruses to have easy access to laptops Not one good thing to say about it!!!!!!!!! Except to say stay away I don't know what other advice to give about this place

Went here courtesy of a gift voucher I had. Fair service from a youngish group of staff and we sat adjacent to the bar area. Food portions were reasonable, tasty and price average for a hotel. Seemed to lack atmosphere though.
