Good stay, rooms are about what you'd expect for room rate, could do with modernising but clean and TV is decent size if you're interested. Food in the bar was fantastic, quick service and good fresh food. Breakfast was ok, pretty standard. Free Wifi is ok in room but poor in public areas and you'll keep having to reconnect every... Made to feel very welcome at the hotel. Checking in was quick and easy. The bedroom was large and comfortable with all facilities available. Free wifi included. Even though the weather was snowy, the room was warm!

Attending a function with a group having dinner afterwards was a warm and inexpensive experience. Despite it being mid week, the hotel was warm, staff keen to please and always smiling and the duck dish in the restaurant fabulous and of a very generous portion. Definitely a gem of a place!

Attended a party night in seagoe, well where do you start! On arrival the reception area was Baltic, both sets of doors were wide open to facilitate the smokers, heaven help those of us who don't smoke. We were called in for our meal, as I have eaten here often I was expecting a good meal. The starter was good,... More

The Hotel looks impressive from the outside, and inside is pretty swish. Bar and lounge areas are nice. Tables in restaurant too small but ok. The Burger was amazing, really top class. However I was told one price for with extras and then charged more - £4 more so that's pretty rough. Great water pressure in showers. 2 x beds... More

Never have I ever encountered such a rude Illmannered unhelpful receptionist (who in asking is apparently the reception manager!!!!!!) Sets an extremely bad example and am baffled as to how she ever made a managerial position!!!

We traveled to the Seagoe Hotel to attend a day at the races .. where the staff were friendly there is absolutely nothing else appealing about this hotel, the thick ball of dust on the lamps and the dark brown mattress, showing the odd patch of the original colour "white" gave a clear indication the hotel could do with a... I've stayed here a few times for work but this last time was not fun. Usually the internet works but it cut out and would not reconnect. The pipes started banging at midnight which was not fun it made for a night of no sleep. On the plus side the staff are very friendly and the food is very good.

My friend and I visited the Seagoe hotel in october. My friend ordered a full breakfast and I ordered the healthy option, porridge and 2 toast and two teas. The waitress brought the teas, then my friends breakfast. 5 minutes later she brought the porridge and ten minutes later the toast. I tried to get her attention several times. Eventually she... More

Very last minute overnight, walk up rate reasonable. Clean and comfortable although room a bit battered and dated. Nice restaurant, good breakfast also has coffee bar. Full free wifi. Friendly uncomplicated stay.
