Stayed one night, staff are lovely. Food at dinner was nice. Breakfast was ok but meat quality of sausage was not nice at all. Had problems with the wifi, if your needing wifi then you will find yourself in bother.

I was met by two friendly and helpful staff as I walked into the bar area. I was given the menu quite quickly which I like as I'm on business and do not have a great deal of time to spare. I ordered the Baked Ham and Cheddar Cheese and apple chutney combo with Broccoli and blue cheese. It came... More

Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, food in the bar great, I'd recommend the chicken curry! Only thing to let this hotel down is Wi-Fi. I was on a business trip and depend on Wi-Fi when I'm away but it was either weak. Plenty of parking and the rooms are nice, dated but clean and comfortable. If you don't need Wi-Fi... More

Stayed for one night on a business trip. The hotel is okay but looks dated, could do with some modernisation. It may state WiFi but no end of connection problems. If WiFi is important to you then I would seriously consider your options however, if you want a break from technology then this is the hotel to check into!

Two of us stayed at the hotel in December. We are fairly regular visitors and find the staff very helpful and friendly and usually enjoy staying in the hotel. Unfortunately I was relying on wifi to get some work done in the room in the evenings, which I have done before, but this time it was very flakey, only working... More

This is a very beautiful hotel and I'm sure it was a gem back in the day; however we found it to be very dated. I had a difficult time with odors that are associated with older buildings. The staff was lovely but the service in the restaurant was non-existent and the Wifi was spoty at best. A couple of... More

At a wedding in the hotel so rates reflected group deal. Rooms spacious, bed comfortable. Public areas reasonable but freezing cold - apparently guests fault for leaving doors open - that stick on flooring. Service functional rather than warm in reception. Residents bar friendly but unprofessional & stock holding hit & miss. Breakfast non existent service, food not replenished. Shame... More

There was no WIFI even though its advertised. Management said it was patchy and hard luck. There was no effort to explain why it was bad. Very disappointing all round. Tired surroundings, unmotivated staff and poor customer care.

We spent two nights at the Seagoe Hotel and enjoyed the accommodations. Amenities are the usual for visiting Ireland; no wash cloths, no refrigeration for leftovers. But like I have said in other Irish hotel critiques, its pretty much the standard so pack your own washcloth. These minor issues aside, we give the Seagoe high marks for spacious and contemporary...
