Nothing worse than bad service in a restaurant. Ordered a drink, picked up a menu and sat down. They are meant to take your order at the table, I was ignored for 20 mins, in the end had to go to the bar and order. Then after my main course was asked if I wanted to see dessert menu. I... More

The Seagoe Hotel is conveniently situated, less than five minutes drive from a major industrial estate, and there are some other positives: the building itself is attractive, the staff are pleasant, and the food is very good, although the menu never changes. The public areas are nice, and the bedrooms are large. I stayed there. Regarding the bedrooms, they are... More

I feel awful at having to give this review after the reception staff were so kind and caring. However, I was really disappointed in the overall experience. The foyer is impressive and I expected great things of the room and breakfast. I stayed in two different rooms (I had to be moved due to extending my stay). Both rooms were... More

I stayed here as it was convenient whilst on a business trip. The public areas were fine and staff friendly. The bedrooms are in serious need of refurbishment. The carpets are old, ripped in places, old dark decor and dust and dirt around the room. There is no aircon or fridge, my room was very warm and was worse as the... More

was in restaurant for an evening meal last week, the starter was good, hot and very tasty, however the burger I ordered for a main was to say the least very dissapointing, a bun that was definitely not baked that day!! The burger was obviously not made in the restaurant as it was dry and tough, about 12 chips in... More

Pop in here quite often with clients for a reasonable lunch, selection is good and staff friendly and attentive. There are vegetarian options and the coffee is good. Price wise what you would expect for hotel dining

quick check in, clean room and prompt room service is what immediately comes to mind when I think of the Seagoe. Excellent foyer area for meetings thoug it was a little cold and lighting was a bit dull. Great bar food menu and the service was excellent.

Visiting Portadown last Friday on business, travelling all day, arrived at HOTEL at 3.05pm afternoon only to be told "kitchen is closed" I did ask if this was a Hotel after all and the counter staff to me to go "up the road to another restaurant" Went to Tipler's Bar and had great food and service!

I stayed here a couple of weeks (for business reasons) and although, as many already mentioned, the hotel looks a bit dated, it was still a pleasant stay. Staff is friendly en helpful enough. Rooms are big and comfortable. The atmosphere reminded me a bit to Fawlty towers, but only in a good sense. The breakfast was a bit different... More
