The rooms are warm and spacious, the beds comfortable and there are plenty of towels in the bathroom which is spotless. The welcome and service from the owner/hosts and staff is fantastic. I stayed here for a conference and the conference facilities are first class. Lovely breakfast, great value, great service

I stayed here last week, and could not find fault. My only regret was that i never managed to take up the landlords challenge to a game of indoor bowls downstairs. I would have beat him. Next time maybe. Fabulous room, and wonderful brekkie. Highly recommended.

This is a really nice bed and breakfast. It is spacious, warm, rooms are clean, staff are friendly and welcoming and the breakfast is great. This place is a gem. I would highly recommend it if you're in the area.

Absolutely lovely. So so welcoming, owners are just lovely, helpful and caring. Made us feel really welcome and our kids loved the way they were with them too, really chatty and interested in their stay which they didn't need to do. Breakfast was so good, all had our own little requests as asked what we'd like, all breakfasts were made... More

I travel a lot with work and this is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. Couple who run it refer to everyone by name and are really lovely and so keen to ensure everyone has a good stay. Room was spacious, clean and it good condition. Food was lovely. Would thoroughly recommend. Everyone I met had... More

I have never stayed at this place but have spent a lot of time there recently in the great new bowls centre. The place is spotless and Gerard and Joan are friendly and welcoming. On the last night we were treated to a beautiful supper in the banqueting hall. Thanks for a great few weeks, hope to see you soon

This B and B will not be forgotten. It is like no other place you have ever stayed in.When we arrived my friend bellowed at the intercom that he wished fairly quick entry-the equally bellicose response was that there was no way an ugly so and so like him was coming in!And it went downhill thereafter! The rooms are adequate, the staff... More

I would not recommend this place to anyone...dimly lit and antiquated, more like a YMCA,,NO bar,NO restaurant, total rip off for £35.00..worst breakfast ever..no secure parking..£20.00 per night would be realistic, beds ok,,,the was owner more interested in horse racing than anything else...not good...

Have stayed here for business previously and always had a pleasant experience. The owners were always helpful and helped me book taxis, meals etc. This last time I was able to bring my wife as we combined business and a holiday for an seven night stay. They treated my wife very well when I was working and went out of... More

The rooms were ok. The biggest problem was the puritanical , racist bigot who owns the place. They also claim to have a bar. Its been shut for 2 years. The restaurant was also missing. Not only can you nit drink in your room, he objected to a bottle of wine that was in my closed suitcase. Don't go there,... More
