This was a last minute booking as we needed a room in the area. I wish we'd tried harder to find somewhere else. The receptionists we encountered were polite and friendly, but the problem was with the room itself. Certainly Travelodge doesn't provide the 'extras' you would get elsewhere, but we've stayed in Travelodges before and knew what to expect.... more

Stayed last night in this hotel and I was amazed at the transformation, fresh clean walls and new carpets, very pleasant and accommodating staff. I had stayed here a while back it was just ok but this new facelift has done wonders for the place. Very handy to Cheshire Oaks shopping outlet and liverpool airport. Will definately be returning very... more

Cheap hotel if you book early using their website. Met our basic needs for cleanliness, a shower and a bed. Nothing fancy and a short drive to many fast food locations in either direction. ASDA is a short driving distance away. Little Chef on site but we chose to eat elsewhere, just so we could eat Kebabs. Paid 19 GBP... more

Stayed overnight at hotel on £15.00 offer. Having then read reviews was not expecting to actually stay but prepared to give it a try... What a surprise- helpful staff and new carpets throughout. Tea / coffee facilities good with additional drinks at the asking. Staff friendly and helpful (recommended local pub The Chimneys 5 mins walk away - excellent food... more

4 people stayed at this hotel. They all decribed the hotel as a "DUMP". One person had a shower only to discover that there were no towels in his room. Another person had absolutely NO heating in his room and it was freezing. Another person had their car broken into in the car park only to discover that the camera... more

Stayed here after a family funeral. Have to state right off that my 1-night stay was free as I was redeeming a complimentary voucher from a previous disastrous stay at a London Travelodge. When I arrived at about 4.30 pm reception was only staffed by a cleaner who told me that she was filling in and the reception would be... more

With football on in the area, no usual discount available on line, and it hurts these days paying more than £26 for T lodges since they stripped virtually everything out. Room 21 - carpet was wet and covered in previous occupants hairs, toilet handled had been bodged back on with a piece of ply wood, fire notice broken, no remote,... more

I'd heard some very negative views on Travel Lodges so didn't have very high hopes of the Eastham branch. BUT it cost me the princely sum of £15 and seemed ok since I was just looking for somewhere to lay my head for the night. Like a lot of Travel Lodges, it isnt the easiest to get to without a... more

I booked three rooms at this dump. I had previously stayed at a premier lodge in Scotland and thought this was part of the same chain and would be of similar quality. Wrong. We got to our room at 530 on Friday evening after a long drive through rain. We were staying here for a family do just up the... more

I am a wheelchair user and we were traveling to my father-in-law's funeral in Birkenhead. My husband booked a double disabled room for himself and me, in the name of Lloyd and my 17yr old son had the room next door. The hotel is up a dangerously uneven paved path. The main doors [two large double doors, impossible to open... more
