Sometimes you can be pleasantly surprised by an hotel where initial expectations might not be that high - a clear indication that you can never pre-judge anything. Such was the case with the Bannville in Banbridge which may not have the status of some others but where we spent a couple of very enjoyable nights courtesy of a Living Social... More

On 3rd Jan a friend treated us , along with three others , to dinner in Bannville House . We sat in a quiet part of the restaurant , close to a lovely Christmas tree . Two members of our party had special dietary requirements , one being gluten intolerant and the other not able to take dairy products .... More

Four of us had a very enjoyable time in the tastefully decorated dining room on Christmas day. The music was subdued, the table well set and the service efficient. Our orders had been placed earlier in the week and we were not disappointed. As a COELIAC I was delighted to find Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy alongside generous helpings of... More

We came here for lunch on Christmas Day, myself, my husband and family, 15 of us in total, we were hoping for something special but unfortunately we were disappointed. The staff and service were very good, however the food was at best described as a school dinner. The portion size was enormous, which was not appealing at all, the aim... More

We are sorry to read your comments regarding Christmas Day Dinner . Each item on the menu is accompanied with different sides and that is why some dishes are presented differently. The feedback we have received has all been very positive regarding food and value for money, however we have noted your comments . More

Myself and my husband treated our friend and her husband for our friend's 60th birthday. We had bed and breakfast and a 2-course evening meal with a glass of wine. The hotel was wonderful, and because it was during the Christmas period, it was beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming and the staff were so friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are... More

My wife and I spent an overnight stay early December 2015. We enjoyed a lovely evening meal. We were too full to even order a sweet. Our room on the second floor was very large and comfortable. It had en-suite bathroom. Loads of hot water for showers and the room was warm and cosy with a lovely view out the... More

We went to The Bannville on a Friday night for a quiet getaway. We were greeted by Lynne who was very chatty and explained our deal package as it included a meal from a set menu. We did ask if we could have something of the main menu if the set menu didn't suit and she said she'd work with... More

8 of us ate here prior to the Derek Ryan dance last Friday night. Meal was absolutely delicious! Service was great, portions excellent and a great menu choice! So handy doing the dine/dance package so you don't have to q outside! Will def return to Bannville for another meal and highly recommend it to all my friends and family! :)

We had a fantastic relaxing weekend break at the Bannville House Hotel. The room was beautiful, spacious with ensuite which also was very spacious and there was provision of toiletries. The ambiance was great mostly due to the friendly staff who were more than helpful, nothing was too much bother. The food could not be faulted what so ever. Breakfast... More
