The lovely, friendly owners had lots of useful, helpful information, and they were also able to recommend the best places to eat locally. There was a roomy car park at the front of the property. The guest house is literally five minutes walk to the beautiful beach (the owners will give you directions). The bedroom was a good size with... More

Anvershiel House was an excellent choice for our two night stay in this stunning area of Northern Ireland. We (two couples)were made very welcome upon our arrival and shown to our lovely, spacious rooms which were bright and clean. We liked our room with the large windows overlooking the front of the house. Closing the drapes at night ensured that we... More

We were only there for one night, and we found this place to be great. Very clean, nice breakfast, comfy bed, and reasonably priced. I'm a vegetarian and they altered a meal on the breakfast menu to accommodate this, which was nice of them. The owners were friendly, but not overly friendly. We both like our space, so I was... Standard B&B with friendly host Erna who was always making sure everything was OK and gave us helpful hints on where to eat. Anvershiel is within walking distance of town and the beach. Downsides are main road if in front room although overnight there wasn't much traffic, and lots of do / don't notices. There is off street parking -... More

This location is an easy 5 to 10 mins walking from the town, 5 mins from the beach! Very reasonable priced, great Irish breakfast. The room was comfy, very clean, and a good sleep. The lady of the house was very sweet, gives plenty of advice of places to hit and drive. Portrush turns out to be a very nice... More

After some confusion as to how to get to Anvershiel House (we got off at the Dhu Varren train stop...DON'T. Get off at the Portrush Station), we finally made it to our B&B. We had a very nice 2-night stay here with Erna and Victor. Suggestions were made as to what to see and how (on/off bus), which worked out... More

Great B&B located near the PSNI Station Portrush on the Coleraine Rd. Plenty of parking available. The house itself is lovely. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the facilities you need, tv, tea/coffee etc. Erna was a wonderful host and extremely helpful. She has a vast collection of leaflets and maps detailing all the local attractions and is... More

You check in to Anvershiel as a guest and when you check out, you leave as a lifelong friend of Victor and Erna Bow. This B&B is in a prime location. You can take a short walk to a train station, where you can go to Derry or Belfast. The Giants Causeway and Bushmills Distillery are less than a 15... More

Erna and Victor are the couple who own this B&B on the main street, Coleraine Road, heading into Portrush. Though I was there for the Northern Ireland International Air Show, this location is very convenient for being out at the viewing grounds though a little far from the center, about 3/4 of a mile/about a kilometer. That being said, it... More
