Cant rave enough about this place. took our 2 year old. wildlife, walks, freedom, close to the two main towns as well as Coleraine. Will try to get back next year. my wee girl loved the "dolphin swing" and basically claimed it for herself that week. Staff helpful as well as good clean accommodation with fresh sheets.

Stayed in the Fairythorn house for a family weekend. Fantastic big house with plenty of spacious bedrooms. Ideal for a large get together and everything was looked after by Karen and co at Maddybenny. Toddler had loads of room to play and Karen even had stair gates fitted for us before we arrived. Only downside was the fuse went on... More

We really enjoyed our stay in Maddybenny. We had stayed in one of the cottages before and had really enjoyed the ambience, so decided to return. This time we opted for the B&B and had a really relaxing enjoyable stay. We stayed in room 4 which sleeps 4, two adults in one room and two teenage boys in an adjoining... More

My sons and I were travelling around the north coast and needed somewhere to sleep after Giant's Causeway, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Bushmills whisky factory. Looking at the map we thought Portrush would be a good choice. But among the hotels there we found Maddybenny, out in the countryside. "Let's go for it" said one of my sons, "I... More

We stayed here on Saturday in room 2, which is a nice room, with lots of natural light.Good view of the farm, gardens and paddock.Lovely and quiet at night :-)Woke up to the smell of bacon , enjoyed breakfast too. The location was ideal, just on the edge of town.

We have stayed here a few times in the B+B and camping (before it became overpriced), so we thought we would try the 4star cottages. We are a family if 4, my girls are 12+8 and my mum who is recovering from a serious illness. At of first glance they are great and the owners are really nice! However they... More

We stayed in a tent on the campsite which is small but has a lot of character. Advantages - nice country views, small site so the kids can run around safely and they enjoyed the birds, chicks, horses, peacocks and Duke the dog. It is really conveniently located for Portrush and there is a Lidl and a Spar a few... More

we went on a family break away to giants causeway and found maddybenny to be an ideal location for our break away, Could not have asked for more friendly clean homely environment. Karen looked after us the best. We stayed bed and breakfast in the farmhouse. Breakfast was a wholesome varied choice from ulster fry, local trout, waffels and bacon,... More

The folks at Maddybenny were very accommodating. We had a large, beautiful room and they helped us order in food. Good breakfast, nice quiet location. The peacocks were a bit loud, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
