I stayed here for two nights just before the North West 200 2014. It was my first weekend stay in Portrush. This home was a delight to visit and stay in. My husband and I had a lovely weekend here. We were so very well looked after. We were late on one morning for breakfast and intended to go out... More

Very friendly staff at all times, beautiful room to a very high standard, the view is breath taking on waking every morning. Location is brilliant so close to main town, and to finish breakfast was beautiful and served by a very friendly and helpfull young lady

I stayed here for 2 nights in March, and the owner upgraded me to a bigger room at the top with a great view of the beach for the same price due to there was vacancy. The room and bathroom were very clean, plenty of hot water and good water pressure, and the Wi-Fi worked great. The breakfast was very... More

Just want to say what a fantastic time my partner, I and our son had staying here. Friendly staff, and breakfast both days was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and will return in the future. Our room was up to standard and tv had free view with kids channels which our son really enjoyed. It is located centrally to... More

We felt like a short inexpensive break at the Port so our B&B search came up with Averest House. From the photos and reviews it ticked the boxes. Good points are; Economical, fantastic view from the front room window, Clean, quite, friendly staff, and the Breakfast will keep you going most of the day, the lift was welcome as the... More

Stayed at Avarest for 1 night as we visited several sites in Northern Ireland. The home is a beautiful Victorian, situated on one of higher streets in town, giving it an amazing vantage point for ocean views. Our room was at one of the building peaks, and we had a small sitting area by a window with spectacular ocean views.... More

My mum Phyllis and I stayed for one night in the Avarest last weekend. My mum and dad had stayed before and had raved about it so thought it was my turn to check what all the fuss was about. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who was very pleasant and welcoming. He even remembered my mum... More

I can`t say how pleasant the stay in this lovely B&B was. I made reservation late in the night way pass the check-in hours . Arrived around midnight but before that contacted the owner who was more than helpful and left the doors open and the room keys at the reception for me as he was aware of my late... More
