On a family day out we called in for lunch which was the worst meal ever!! Staff were not helpful at all and need to learn customer service skills! Toilets didn't even flush and were so dirty! Never again will we visit this hotel. It is in a great location so really needs to sort itself out!!

Got to say, never stayed in this establishment but I have visited here for drinks after all else has closed! Though not as trendy as the majority of other choices available, it's what I call a proper boozer, proper spit and sawdust type of place! Pricing structure can be suspect, especially the more intoxicated you get but this place serves... More

There are very few words to describe this place. It's like a crack den. The bed sheets felt damp, floor obviously had never seen a hoover, room was freezing with draughts. Never set foot over the door of this place again

This place is disgusting and over priced. The shower was so tiny that the shower curtain was wrapped whole way round ya and ya couldn't move to wash yourself lol The staff were really ignorant. The place was so smelly. The cleaners looked at you like they were going to beat the life outta ya. I defo wouldn't advise stayin... More

As our usual watering hole (Silver Sands restaurant) was closed for refurbishment we called in on the spur of the moment for a family carvery to the Eglinton Hotel. We were very pleased with what we got and everyone cleared their plates! Although in the middle of Portrush it wasn't overly busy. The staff were very pleasant and we were... More

Stayed here for one night, did the job. The only negative side would be our room didn't have a shower. Breakfast included in the morning was good and hotel bar was open till 5am for a few extra drinks.

Stayed at this hotel for a short family break. Hadn't booked anywhere before arriving in town and a lot of places we called to were booked out. This hotel is centrally situated in town but that's about all that's positive with the place. As others have reviewed, this hotel badly needs some renovation. Room was freezing, beds uncomfortable, no shower,... More

To publish this review...I had to give an overall rating...so it got a one...it does not deserve this. Just back from a break in the North. We had a great few days with the exception of this dive! We were extremely stuck for somewhere to stay and at 12.30 at night...we had no other option than the Eglinton 'Hotel'...I use... More
