This was my first proper time in Northern Ireland with my wife and we'd gone to Portrush on recommendation from a trusted source. After careful deliberation we picked the Albany Lodge as our place to stay whilst in Portrush and it was the perfect start to our Ireland Adventure. The hotel is in a good location being a short walk... More

From first contact with the owner and throughout our stay, we were treated with great friendliness. The accommodation was extremely clean and the room was in excellent decorative state, modern, fresh and very comfortable. All modern facilities available completed by a choice of breakfast which was tasty, well cooked and presented. My partner is a vegetarian and this did not... More

We had a lovely weekend in Portrush. Although very central, the room was quiet and warm. We enjoyed the fantastic views and freshly prepared breakfast and the hosts were very friendly. The room was cosy and bright and had a fridge too. Altogether a perfect stay! Highly recommended!

We stayed for one night in February and was very impressed with this B&B. the owner was very friendly and showed us to our spacious room. Room was very well equipped, clean and cosy-warm. Location is excellent, and there is ample parking in the area at this time of the year. Only tiny criticism is the time breakfast is served,... More

Made to feel very welcomed. Very clean, great breakfast, private & central location. Bedroom and ensuite was very modern, clean & pleasant decor. Staff really lovely and helpful. Parked in street behind accommodation which was safe and handy for carrying luggage. Also location was very central to local amenities as well as having a scenic view to East Strand from... More

Albany Lodge is well located in the heart of Portrush, with views over the magnificent waves that crash onto the east strand. Free on-street parking is available (without time limits) on Kerr Street and Mark Street which run in parallel at the back of the property. The whole property, but especially the bedrooms and dining room, was in a high... More

Great location, wonderful water view, fine service. Run by a terrific couple. Parking can be difficult but we always seemed to get lucky. We used this as our base of operations as Portrush itself has very little to see.

My wife and I stayed two nights at the Albany Lodge, while seeing the Antrim Coast. The Albany Lodge is centrally located right downtown in (the small) town of Portrush. We had a 4th floor room, which required climbing 60 stairs. (Yes, I counted them!) The reward, however, was a sweeping 180 degree view of the ocean looking out to... More

Central Portrush has a lot of one way streets which are very confusing for the first time visitor. After passing Albany Lodge three times and having to make the entire circuit again to finally reach our destination, we arrived to learn that there was no parking. We did find a spot on the street which worked out. The best part... More

We had a really lovely weekend stay in room 302 ,which give us fantastic views over the beach and the airshow. Yummy breakfasts served by Kate who is a charming hostess . Will will definitely stay here again , better than most hotels we have stayed in .
