We loved Ashlea House. After traveling for nearly a month we walked into our beautiful, warm, well lit room and both said 'let's live here'. unfortunately we only had 1 night there. We didn't get a sea view, but were delighted with the detail and comfort in our room & bathroom. Geraldine the owner is a star, and there's not... More

Geraldine is a gracious, friendly and welcoming host. We stayed here just the one night at the very beginning of a 4000 km roadtrip. We left Dublin Airport at 3.30 pm and were drained, grumpy, tired and over it by the time we reached Portrush. We had such a lovely welcome and the room was superb - with a big... More

The abundance of add ons is outstanding. Selections of teas and coffees along with some yummy cookies which were great for filling the gap after a long day driving.... More

My wife & I from Australia - travelling around Nth Ireland & Ireland had checked all the reviews regarding this B&B in Portrush on the coast - what a gem worth the stay even though it was only one night. - 5th August,2014. Our room was beautiful decorated with everything in our room, tea & coffee facilities, separate bathroom with... More

Stayed here overnight on 6th June with 3 friends. We stayed in a clean, comfortable and spacious room with 4 single beds, ensuite bathroom and a seaview at a ridiculously competitive price. We each had a bath towel, hand towel, flannel, shampoo and shower gel supplied. There were tea /coffee making facilities with many varieties of tea, coffee and biscuits.... More

You cannot be more central - the waves are crashing into the shore meters away. We did not get a seaview, but I can only imagine how magnificent that might be. Just around the corner are a group of restaurants serving every kind of food. It's seriously impressive. We only chanced upon Portrush and cannot believe we had never even... More
