Once again this 'hostel' never fails to deliver perfect service. I say 'hostel' as it's much more than the usual hostel. It's family run for families, couples, backpackers and lone travellers. Very homely. Clean and cozy. Given the choice between other premium or budget local accommodation, I always choose to and enjoy my stay here.

Philip and Colette run a fantastic little hostel! The location is decent and only a 5-10 minute walk to shops and the town centre. Beds are decent and showers/facilities are good. The kitchen and living room have everything you need to relax and enjoy your downtime. I found them to be really helpful when trying to make travel plans and answering... More

Great option to pass a night in the cold Northern Ireland. With a great living room, warmed by a fireplace. Kitchen well organized and we stayed at one room of 12 people that its cute and welkoming. If some day I come back to Northern Ireland for shure I'll go back!

We went with friends, needing a cheap base from which to explore the beautiful Causeway Coast. The reviews on this place were all good so we went for it... An excellent decision from our point of view. The staff were helpful and friendly at all times. They couldn't do enough for us (even helping with parking!). The rooms are clean... More

We stayed in October in the beach room at the back, lovely room with its own terrace, clean and warm. Friendly welcome and everything explained. Only a short walk from all bars and restaurants at the harbour. Big communal living/dining area. Tea & coffee always available as well as toast & cereal in morning. Had a great stay and would... Right after I arrived I received a warm welcome from Phil, the owner of this lovely place, who then showed me around the communal areas, explained how the hostel worked and even introduced me to my roommate. I felt immediately at home. There's a big kitchen and a TV lounge and breakfast (bread+butter+jam, cereal+milk) is included in the price of... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in room 2, a private double en-suite. Firstly, the welcome made by Phil was excellent, he showed us all the communal facilities, told us the WiFi password then showed us to our room, and checked the radiator was turned on. We quickly left our bags in & went out to explore. Having your own... More

I am an international student at University of Ulster and I stayed in the Portrush Holiday Hostel for 20 days while I was looking for an accommodation. The Hostel is in a very good position, near the city centre, little supermarkets and the train/bus station. Many trains and buses connect Portrush with the University in Coleraine, the main cities in... More

Haven't stayed in a hostel for many years. When my mate booked this place and told me we were in a 10man dorm for £15 per night I had visions of a living hell. But it was really good. There is a big kitchen and living room downstairs for communal use. The kitchen is stocked up with tea, coffee, cereals,... More
