Stayed here for 1 night with my partner and teenage son for 1 last night away before back to school. The family room we booked was actually two adjoining rooms which was great as my son had his own TV and could listen his music in peace.Rooms clean and tidy and comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Only... More

The Port Hotel is a no frills place to sleep with a friendly staff in a lovely location. The town of Portrush is adorable and this hotel is smack in the middle of everything. If you walk one block, you get a beautiful view of the water. We had to walk up a lot of stairs to get to our... More

Great central location. Very friendly & helpful staff. Nice food, nice pub. But, no parking, no lift, not good if you are on the top floor with suitcases! ( we were lucky, someone available to carry ours up), bed mattress sunk into the middle, very lumpy, hard pillows, shower next to impossible to work out, water kept changing temperature, outdated... We didn't stay in the Hotel but visited the restaurant for dinner. We ordered garlic bread without cheese for starter but had to send it back as it came with cheese on it. We then ordered a medium steak, chips and garlic potatoes as part of our main course. The garlic potatoes were chips with garlic butter on them. Both... More

While the communal areas are a little dated and if you have a room at the top of the stairs be prepared for the hike (no lift!), the room we stayed in had been fairly recently redecorated and the bathroom and room were very clean and comfortable. We had a room with a view to the street and had no... More

We arrived on a wet Sunday afternoon and were well pleased with our rooms and the welcome we received. We ordered our evening meal from a reasonably priced and varied menu and our food was delicious. The dining room staff were friendly and efficient. The building is old but our rooms were tastefully decorated and our beds were very comfortable.... More

Spending a weekend with the family and stopped for some lunch after a busy day at the amusements. Kids were starving. 4 adults and 2 children and a baby in total. Arrived and were directed to the back of the room without even a hello so made our way up and were given our menus by a friendly enough girl.... More

Visited N. Ireland for the first time this June for an amateur golf tournament and stayed 6 nights at the Port Hotel in Portrush. The hotel is centrally located in town and is walking distance from the harbor area where we ate dinner and enjoyed N. Irish hospitality in the pubs each evening after golf. The staff at the hotel...
