My husband and I stayed in the apartment with our then 8 month old who crawled for the first time on the floor up there. The apartment is clean and has everything you need to be comfortable. While there was music the night we arrived we fell asleep early and missed it. We did however have a lovely greeting with... More

I attended Ballyeamon Barn on Saturday night with an Irish language group I'm a member of. The place was lovely with absolutely beautiful surroundings & Liz was extremely kind & welcoming. A fantastic host. Would recommend to anyone. Especially the talent night on a Saturday evening in which local musicians and artists gather to share their gift.

Guardians of the Wifi were evoked here, they spread their power across the barn. The hostel was clean from head to toe and the beds were fresh in their rows. There was an overwhelming sense of community for the wayward soul, the true love of Ireland will be something that you begin to know. Liz is so welcoming and wonderful,... More

Definately stay here! Its so warm and welcoming, in a stunning landscape of trees, valleys and a few miles from the coast. I stayed in the apartment, which was really spacious, clean, warm and nice, with comfort and great atmosphere, and views of nature at its absolute finest! Thankyou so much for making my stay so memorable, enjoyable and relaxing

What a lovely place, the location, the views, the facilities, it was perfect for our large group. And Liz was such a welcoming and thoughtful hostess. She made sure we had all we needed and entertained us with her stories. For some of our group who had not been to the Glens before this was a lovely touch, on top... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at Ballyeamon Barn - surrounded by Nature, beautiful landscapes, with a very friendly & exciting host - Liz, very friendly prices and wonderful Storytelling and & Music nights on Saturdays. I think it's one of the most pleasant and interesting places to stay on the island. Highly recommend it to people who love to... More

I left a piece of my heart there. The scenary around the barn (10 minutes by car from Cushendall) is absolutely mesmerising. And once you step a foot in, you won't be just a guest, you'll be part of the family and everyone will look after you like they've been knowing you for ages. I will be back, no doubt!

Ballyeamon Barn is a wonderful, rustic retreat near Cushendall, NI. And Liz Weir is an exciting, informed, dynamic host. Our family of three had a most memorable 3-day stay. Great meals, beautiful site-seeing and stimulating conversation with the assortment of International Guests who also found their way to Ballyeamon Barn. This is the place for a lifetime experience in the... More

I love staying at Liz's barn. Nowhere will make you feel more welcome and at home than Ballyeamon. Facilities are excellent and the warmth of the hosts, the friendly atmosphere and the sessions on a Sat night make this the perfect place to stay to visit the North Coast.
