The best thing about the hotel was the friendly staff....it was all downhill from there. Don't know if we were given a tatty room because we were on a Groupon deal but it certainly didn't inspire a return visit if that's what they were hoping for. The heating in the room was not on when we arrived and therefore the... More

Our room had no central ceiling light and the two bedside lamps didn't offer much light. Facilities in the room were minimal, with tea/coffee making and a TV. An old hairdryer was found on a shelf. Hotel staff asked if we thought the room smelt musty but commented it was all they had! It smelt of new paint and had... More

Went for bar food we were told the food was very good by a butcher in Cushendall what a shock. My wife's order was fish and chips, the chips were hard fish was soggy there was about a tin of peas on her plate. My order was a steak sandwich it was definitely not worth £11-95 there was little meat which was cut... Stayed here for the weekend, this is a lovely hotel, very clean and the staff are very friendly. Food was great and very reasonably priced, the beach is just a ten minute walk and it's the perfect location for visiting surrounding areas, the Carrick a Reed rope bridge and others along the coast. Will definitely be back.

We held our daughter' christening here and I can't speak highly enough of the staff and the service provided. Jackie and Philomena replied quickly to my enquiry emails and on the day Jackie was there to ensure everything went smoothly, The buffet food was tasty and plentiful. The chef even noticed that my sister was only eating a banana she... More

Just ok for an overnight stay. Shower in room was pathetic. Either freezing cold or scalding hot. Fire alarm went off at 3am. Room cleanliness wasn't great. At £65 for the night you can get much better B&B instead of this place. Requested a poached egg for breakfast however staff were too busy apparently ...

We stopped in the hotel on a day trip to the glens. We understand that it was busy due to the annual festival taking place. We expected the service to be slow and had prepared ourselves for this however we were not expecting the rude manner in which the MANAGER treated us with. We were pointed to a function room... More

We arrived without a booking during the Festival , staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. They were our saving grace. Without them we would have been sleeping in the car. Breakfast was amazing, again the staff were so helpful and cheery. Nice to see staff with a sense of humour too.

The staff and management could not have done enough for us. The manager Jackie was outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure the day went perfectly. The food and service were excellent. The owner martin was available all at all times just to ensure everything went as it should. As special shout out to philomena on reception, Aidan... More

We arrived without a booking and were kept waiting for 20 minutes before staff told us a room was available. The decor was tired and old fashioned although the atrium was attractive. We were only offered the daily menu for dinner and food choices were limited. The food was slow and tasteless. The fried breakfast was not up to the... More
