We arrived today and booked into a double room. First impressions were very out dated decor and furnishings and extremely basic but given the price I wasn't really expecting anything more. I did, however, think it could have been cleaner. Unpacked and left for a days shopping and dinner. After returned from dinner the problem started. I lay down on... More

It was cheap, my husband stayed here over twenty years ago and it hadn't changed at all. Staff were lovely, food was good, unfortunately the rooms were basic, outdated and worn looking,no cover on duvet which didn't look great, tiny TV, bathroom floor sticky and radiator rusty and not very good showers. Noise if near front because of nightclub and road. Such a... More

We arrived several hours earlier than check in due to an early flight and were over the moon when the receptionist checked us into our room early. The rooms were very average but throughout our stay staff went the extra mile in giving directions, arranging taxis etc. would definitely stay again, great value for money.

I stayed with my wife for a duration of 5 nights, and were quite happy but there were a few disturbing issues. 1st issue was that the shower had very low pressure, even after advising the front desk of the issues on countless occasions, this was ignored. Second issue was, you were not allowed to order take out! You were... More

Just stayed here for 3 nights, and having read the reviews we weren't expecting much .. but even so were disappointed. Location was okay .. that's the good bit! The decor is very tired/dated and has clearly seen damp. The bedding and curtains were stained and damaged (including cigarette burns), cleaning hit and miss, and maintenance an issue with handles... We recently stayed at the Chimney Corner Hotel for four nights when visiting friends nearby. The central location was perfectly situated for our jaunts and was easy to find, but to be candid we based our decision to book here on the very reasonable price. The rooms we had were presentable, clean and comfortable with a view over the playing... More

We landed in Belfast for a wedding late Sunday night and just needed a place to crash. It's simple and basic in terms of service and facilities but if you're only staying for one night, this is the perfect place to go. Price was reasonable and it's only about 20mins drive away from the international airport of Belfast.

You get what you pay for in this world. Yes, rooms could use a re-furb, but for the money it costs, it's a nice place. We were at the end of our trip and budget was tight. We stayed here and it was a quick 10 minute journey to the Belfast Ferry. Water pressure in showers was really bad, though.... More

This was a one night stop in a 13 day tour. I was concerned when we pulled up with 35 people in our group. The location is not good but we were tired and didn't want to go out anyway. The bar/restaurant were expecting our group so they had a meal ready. They served us a three course meal that... More
