Booked this hotel as a last minute idea to get away. It's cheap, has plenty of parking and is close to Belfast. Thats where the good points end. The room is basic which is fair enough considering the price. There is a night club attached to the hotel which was obviously a bit noisy but not too bad. The real... More

Its located just outside of Belfast but so long as you have a car its only 10-15 mins to Central Dublin. The hotel itself is clean and tidy if a bit dated. They make mention of a sauna/spa but this was closed (permanently?) while we stayed. The services in the rooms is pretty standard. The location of the property is... More

Stayed here (out of desperation), with no doubt in my mind the worst "hotel" I have ever stayed in. Dark unlit corridors, bed beyond uncomfortable (you could feel every spring in the bed). TBH I wouldn't use the matress as a dog bed!! Ran the shower for 20 minutes (not exaggerating) in the morning and could only get lukewarm water.... More

Stayed here for couple days and going by reviews was really nervous about stay. My view changed when I was there this is a great hotel. Yes the decor is a little dated but I can't fault anything wrong with my stay! Specially for the price I paid for 2 nights, I wasn't expecting much but I was surprised. When... More

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting family. Given a ground floor room, nice size and what seemed a comfortable bed although no duvet just sheets and blankets. The problem came apparent when I settled down to sleep. The bed was painfully uncomfortable and on lifting the mattress to find out why it revealed a plank of wood nailed to the... More

Reading some reports on here you may be permitted in thinking this is a really poor hotel, its not its good for the price you pay. On arrival at the Hotel we where quickly sorted with the paperwork and we where allocated room 130 on the ground floor which was perfect. The room was clean, the bed was clean, comfy, the... More

Worse hotel I have ever been to, went to ladies toilets and was no toilet roll. It wouldn't be a hotel I would go for a drink or meal never mind have a wedding in it. I don't think I would give it a 1 star the meal was cold at wedding.

I can understand the negative comments made about this hotel however it is a decent, clean and okay dated hotel, but at the price you pay it is excellent value for money. Anyone paying £35/40 a night for a double room and expecting five star luxury is deranged in my eyes. Yes it is dated, I haven't seen a baby... More
